Team was in TS Leagues before first bounce, just didn't have time to put it here, now I do Venus Bay Vultures In: C.Pearce, B.Longer Out: J.Howe, C.Young Howe very unlucky to be dropped after a 108 point performance but surely as a Melbourne player he can't keep that up. And got a bad feeling about their game vs Blues tommorow. DEF: Everitt, Malceski, C.Pearce, E.Yeo (M.Shaw) MID: Beams, Mundy, Gibbs, Gaff (C.Young) RUCK: B.Longer FWD: Parker, Blair, Watts, Higgins (Howe) INT: Ellis, Melksham (Hoskin-Elliot) After Pies vs Tigers we are 205 from 2, Beams 145 off to a big start to boost his Les.W medal hopes, and J.Blair underperforming with a 60. C.Young throws a 93 in managements faces for dropping him as well.

The slaughteration from Port goes a bit of the way to making up for Barlow's absence, but the minor hopefuls continue to perform as such. Perhaps some of the GWS kids will have a day out.
As Nic Nat cops the red vest (29 points) and looks to be injured, I feel obliged to write a short reminder to those who felt the Lefties/Guim trade of last year was very much weighted one way. I did say at the time that the trade - Nic Nat and Coniglio for Cunnington and Thompson - hung very heavily on Nic Nat's fitness, and that it was a huge risk to take. I give you Exhibit A. While Coniglio has flourished, and Cunnington and Thompson have been good, Nic Nat has not been. That I then gave a second round draft pick as well has me wondering. Would I do the trade again? Yes, most likely. And again I'd know the risks. But sometimes, just sometimes, seemingly lopsided trades aren't really so lopsided after all. Next week I'll have no ruckmen at all, most likely. So at hte moment, the roll of the dice has come up with snake eyes.
Suppose it's only fair that after Mumford has single handedly won the last two games for me that his absence (with no emergency) will probably cost me a win this week. And things were going so well to start the season.....

You must be joking. 12 players played for 658 for the Misfits, poorest team performance in their history, 2 to come and a high chance one of them will be vested, I think you are safe chels, you should even get a % boost.
