Where has this news come from chris88? And why should we believe it when two assistant coaches have pretty much said he's out for at least 2, if not more.

McKenna's come out (as per a tweet via TS) saying he has full mobility back in his leg and they want him back for next week's game.

See that's the thing, don't know who to believe.

"They want him back", well of course, who wouldn't want him back?

Sorry AA - that was a bit vague. McKenna said Ablett was a good chance to play next week. Ashcroft also came out and said Ablett was in no discomfort, that recovery was going well and he was ramping up running and the like.

Still reckon he's 3 weeks off, think GC are covering for Hinckley/Soloman's slip of tounge there. I also can't see what benefit there is from not telling the truth?

Hmmm I have plans that will push my wallet to the absolute limit.

This week I'm planning Smith > Christensen which will see my reserve drop from 208k to 21k.

Next week I plan on going Shiel > Horsley and Porplyzia > Franklin and going on my predictions that will cost me...21k!

So it's touch and go as to whether I can afford those trades and I will need big weeks out of Shiel and Porps and another poor week from Buddy.

Is it worth making the first trade even if it might leave me with not enough money for next week? I guess another downgrade target could appear. I would downgrade this week but there's not enough value about.

SKT - yes, Porps is almost certain to play - Van Berlo and Shaw apparently returning as well.

Having both Beams and Sidebottom in the side, a little too Pie-forward heavy?

    Looking at Fyfe options

Don't think it's too Pie heavy, however consider how many other Rnd 12 bye players you have in the forward line before committing.

Tossing up whether to bring in Zaharakis for Fyfe: might wait a week and downgrade Fyfe next week to Adams or Horseley. Too many have Zaha in their teams and his scoring this year for a mid is too up and down.

I've gone GAblett to JPKennedy & DSmith to DBeams, effectively finishes my forwards (Buddy, Lewis, Goodes, Dangerfield, Martin, Beams, Porps and Kennedy & Treloar on bench ready to downgrade when nice and fat. However mouse is poised over reverse button!

Thanks for the comments, AngryAnt & Lucas

@AngryAnt - bye structure precisely the reason why Beams is an alternate option, seeing as the Pies and Dockers share the same bye. Currently have Sidebottom, Chapman and Fyfe for the R12 bye.

Unfortunately, don't have the funds to go Fyfe > Goodes

Could go: - Ablett > Murphy & - Fyfe > Goodes. However, loathe to trade out Ablett, considering its now a cash league/s run for my mob

There is a rumour on twitter from FFC that Rockcliff has done his hammy at training. It says no confirmation just yet though
