    I need your thoughts TS, my team is mess and right now its really bad in the FWD line.

    Currently: Rioli, Franklin, Reiwoldt, Green, Knights, Krakouer, Tapscott, Darling, Richardson, Matera

    I am thinking about trading:
    $250,700
    Knights -> McKernan $157,800
    -> Markovic $140,400
    -> Pitt $140,100
    -> Dixon $123,000
    -> Tippet $125,700
    Reason for the first 4 is I want to trade him to a playing rookie. Tippet is there because it means I can open the link with Petrie. Only thing is this round my forward bench is full of people who have byes which mean having to put Petrie on the pitch and playing Z.Smith in the rucks,

    $409,400
    Green -> Reiwoldt $343,900
    I realise Roo Jnr may go down more but at the moment I need to get rid of this sinking ship with is Green. Should I?

    I'd be jumping on JRoo now (if I didn't already have him and have suffered the drop...doh!). His scores are easily explainable, and he has some softer targets int he coming weeks. In terms of your other trades, not much value in any of them imo, unless you really need the cash.

    @Port_leschenault
    Can you afford Knights -> rookie, Green -> Chapman?

    In the end, is JRoo going to be among the best 7 scoring forwards in the game?

    OK - let's see:
    Chapman, Riewoldt, Pavlich, Franklin, Rioli, Goodes.

    There's six guys off the top of my head that I reckon will score more than JRoo will through the season. (Reminds me I have to get Chappy in soon as well!)

    Anyone else? Brent Harvey? Higgins? Dawes? Stevie J? Didak?

    So, I'd reckon there's six definites in terms of guys scoring more than JRoo throughout the season.

    And I reckon there's another half dozen who might score more than him for the remainder of the season.

    So, at best, JRoo is perhaps placed 8-11 in terms of top scoring forwards for the year.

    The question then becomes, are you willing totake a fly on him in the hope he'll outperform enough people to justify his selection at such a cheap price? If you are, that's good.

    But as a Richmond supporter I'd say to expect some serious up and downs through the year, and a concerted effort by Richmond to target other players in their forward 50 - Vickery, any of the resting midfielders, Miller/Griffiths when he returns, Morton, etc.

    Cheers mate, upcoming games don't actually have much to do with it though to be honest. I planned on bringing Roo in this round either way, as he will help a lot with the multi-byes now that his first bye is done. Dixon I'm not a huge fan of but he looks strong and should be steadily improving, Darling just needs to go for the cash to upgrade to Roo and I still have 3 or 4 good cows after the trade

    Riewoldt looks awesome at 340k!!

    If i didnt have 6 Prems in there i would grab him this weekend.

    Unfortunately have no room for him...

    Darling scoring so well as a M7

    Franklin, Roo, Pav, Goodes, Rioli, Higgins, Darling

    (Tapscott,Richo,Matera)

    @dazza
    Foley -> Higgins isn't too bad of an idea. You might justify it as a "correction" trade if that helps? Higgins already having had a bye is a plus too.

    Hibberd has played in the VFL and is "in the mix" for ANZAC day. However Hille and Reimers may be before him. Hille almost certain to be actually.

    i dont like trading like for like, but how about boak for Moloney next week??

    i know boak should have more upside, but Moloney is on fire and looks the goods for a breakout season (finally!)

    I think Grimes will get the chop once McGuane, Rance and Moore are available for the Tiges.
