Haha, maybe! Coreect me if I wrong mate. That's how I thought it went down, but I didn't have a lot to do with it really...
Lol. I'm sure we've both got better things to do than get into a 'who did what', but you might be surprised. Regardless, all that happened was that, as a committee, we all agreed that the idea that was raised of a single lockout for the Anzac round was the easiest solution for the round. And we did so in full knowledge that some squads wouldn't be finalised. I thought it was a neat solution given the 3 games running back to back on the Friday. Like you, I don't really want to get into having a rolling/staggered/partial lockout for every possible combination of games, days, holidays etc.
Yeah, I actually just had a look back through the actual discussion For the record, everyone, I may have misrepresented the actual extent of the research JC did! But it was near enough I reckon And turns out I was mixed up about my involvement. I actually did contribute to that discussion and decision. It was the later discussion about Easter weekend that I had next to no involvement in, except to say I supported the decision the Committee had come up with.
'[span style='color: #b8b8b8;]In no case do you get one answer which is universally accepted because it is true: in each case you get a number of totally incompatible answers, one of which is ?nally adopted as the result of a physical struggle. Yeah Easter is on me, where my faulty research failed to account for the absence of a Friday game. But chels kindly jumped in to fix it
Maybe thats why Chels didnt include uou in the group pm discussion FIXture Committee working like a well oiled machine lol
Thanks to the committee for looking at this and explaining/discussing it. It'll most likely not be an issue in the next couple of years (re Anzac Day), so hopefully this is just an anomaly for now.
