    It is out of Mundy or Boyd from the ones you listed. Personally i would go Mundy.

    @Eagle_Eyed

    Selwood is bottom priced so if you plan on getting him do it this week.

    I think Boyd is slightly ahead of Mundy for mine but it is very much a line ball call. I don't think that Griffen will be a top 6 midfielder at the end of the year, he may however be a great POD if you think he will.

    Subject to having the $$$'s......

    Toy >>>> Shaw.....

    Tippet >>>> Tippet.

    Gorringe has gone down for GCS which may see a door open for Tippet jr. Either way, I want to keep my MPP fwd/ruck with Petrie providing F7 and an option in the rucks should both Sandi & Cox go down (Have the Zac Smith in R3).

    What about Brad Green? Demons should be on the way up now and could be a good POD if he returns to form.
    I might go, Duigan or Otten -> Puopolo and Matera to Green

    I had Green at the start of the year and he burnt me bad. I wouldn't pick him up after one good game, leave alone until he shows some sign of consistency.

    Rischitelli after the GC bye could be one to pick up? His form has been tremendous win or lose. Same goes for Brennan

    Any schools of thought on Nahas? He is going to drop off a very low score and add a very nice one. From a League only point of view they have North, Crows and Demons in their last 3 matches... POD?

    Am seriously looking at Rischitelli as well, strong form and pumping out decent scores even in the big losses they've had - and could be the POD needed to work up the rankings!!!

    Word on the Twit is that Grimes is out for the rest of the season :O

    So... upgrade or possible sideways targets? I'm thinking Heath Shaw now that Pies are coming off their first bye

    EDIT: Confirmed - http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/7415/newsid/113432/default.aspx
    "Grimes sustained a navicular stress fracture during the first quarter of Melbourne’s 96-point win over Adelaide Crows at the MCG on Sunday."

    Well if Grimes is indeed out for the season I'll be doing something like:

    D. Swallow -> Pendlebury
    Grimes -> Shaw/Deledio/Newman

    and the week after:

    Harris -> Mundy
    Matera -> Smith

  10. Yeah Grimes is gone for the year, so my trades will revolve around covering that I guess...

    No rookies really on the bubble tho

    what do people think about Grimes to Sam Gilbert? He is doing alright tonight. It would open up the def/fwd link for me with Mckernan. is it crazy talk?

    There is no need to rush on Curnow as he has the bye this week any way

    I have Grimes and Curnow, I'm thinking I'll stick with my original plan to trade out Curnow for Selwood this week as his price will probably rise. I'll have Lower to cover Grimes, not much difference in ppg really, and then I can trade him out for Shaw/Enright/Adcock/Newman. If I don't go to Selwood now, I'll lose out $$$ wise.

    Hi lads, i also have Curnow and Grimes. Both of them certainly weren't on my trade table yet, particularly Grimes who i was planning to keep long term. Curnow was my cow to trade into maybe Hodge/O'Keefe or another prem in 3-4 weeks but thats probably not going to happen now as quick as hoped.
    Anyway i think a good strategy would be hold Curnow (he would have sat on the pine this week anyway) and possibly trade Grimes down to Puopolo. Doing this would mean another week riding the McKernan/B Smith rollercoaster but they have the GC at home so maybe some upside!
    Cash in the bank allows for Enright or Shaw down back and Chapman upfront in a couple of weeks.

    One trade locked in for this week:

    Curnow-Pendles

    Unsure of the second cash-gen trade. Its either:

    B Smith - Puopolo

    -upside is B Smiths BE is close to his average.
    -Downside is Adelaide are playing GC, and so I could miss out on good score from him.

    or

    Swallow - I Smith/Hibberd (if named)

    -upside again that Swallow is close to his BE
    - downside is I Smith could be a one hit wonder, and has questionable JS.

    Both options run the risk of brining in a player that has only played one game. All three trade in options are mature aged. Poops has decent JS with Bruce out for a while. I Smith JS a bit less with Rioli coming back in. Hibberds JS is a bit of an unknown, however with a few niggles to the bombers he may come in the team again.

    Any thoughts on these?

    One of those times it nice to have some money in the bank.

    Curnow to Selwood from existing funds.

    Then I really need to do a sideways trade for Grimes to stiffen my defense, don't really want B Smith on the field and upgrading would stuff up my upgrade path of the next few rounds. So the options seem to be:

    Suckling (if back from injury)- Best Average
    Robert Murphy - 5 98+ games with 1 spud.
    Pratt - Only 3 games with 123 against Geelong

    Thoughts appreciated.

    @Nick

    Definitely B Smith trade, with this weeks score he has peaked for a while.

    Swallow is good for another week of growth. B/E 48 with low score of 70.
