I've had Bailey on my bench all year, i'm delighted to see him get a game. You'd think with Hawks ruck injuries, he's a good chance of stringing a few games together. Can't say I know much about Vardy.
I do hope Bailey gets some games going, it's been a rough career for him and wish him the best. After much thinking and a random generator, I went and got Boyd into my Midfield. Hopefully it won't bite me in the butt.
do i bring in heath shaw or adam goodes this week. I will get both of them eventually but which one should i go for this week?
i think goodes.... shaw has bye in round 13...depends on your bench cover.....and how your backs are looking..dont know sydneys bye though
Heath Shaw vs the Crows is probably a good bet. Swans v Hawks game should be a cracker, but surely the Pies should be able to rack up some easy points this week?
@ Sainter got goddard, gibbs, deledio, heppel, fisher, lower and duigan (which will become shaw) with otten, toy smith on bench. i was leaning towards shaw not only because of next few games but also his price will rise more then goodes' will. dont wanna have to fork out that extra cash cause im stingy
Okay guys this is my current team Deledio. Shaw. Adcock. Goddard. Gibbs. Heppell. Poops. (Lower. L.Thompson. B.Smith.) Mundy. Pendles. Cotchin. Judd. Selwood. Libba. (Curnow. Harris. Conca.) Cox. Sandilands. (Smith. O'Keefe.) Pav. Goodes. Darling. N Roo. Yarran. A Krakouer. Duncan. (Matera. McKernan. Richardson.) First question, if Curnow doesnt play will his price change? Secondly what do people think of my trade plan? Thinking..... Round 9- Duncan>Smith and B.Smith> Suckling. Round 10- Curnow>Mzengu and Either Conca/Harris/Libba>Boyd/Swan/ or Curnow>Mzengu and either Matera/McKernan>Sylvia
Ok, I my plan is to get Hibberd in my defence and upgrade Swallow to a premium. Now I am not sure who I should get rid of in my defence. It's between Lower or Thompson. Who goes for Hibberd? Lower's BE is pretty close to his average, but he has had a couple of buys hasn't he? That's my only problem. Then I would trade Swallow in for Selwood (have Swan, Pendles and Judd). I am tempted in going for someone like Mundy or Boyd. But I have had my eyes on Selwood for weeks, last week was my plan (but Grimes interfered) and this is my last week to get him at a good price. So I think I should stick with my original plans and go with Selwood, than change my target the last minute, haha. Lower or Thompson to go is my main issue.
1. Curnow's price won't change. 2. Getting suckling in seems a good plan this week. Round 10 Syvia trade looked good to me cos your FWD line seems not as strong as your mids. Personally I'm holding on to Curnow tho, and by round 10 he might only be a week off a return. Any thoughts on Petrie or Knights for the fwd bench? At the moment I've got Petrie on the feild and Knights on the bench.... very undecided.
@HotPies - I was tossing up those between those two earlier. Decided to drop Thompson. N Lower is a bit better than his average i think, last game he got subbed after scoring 40 odd from memory.
OK guys (and gals), I haven't been able to check in at all this past 2 weeks, (new job, no interweb access, boooo), and as such ive lost each round. Quick Q, Yarrin? Hold or trade? My current thinking is... Yarrin > Mzungu Harris > Boyd. Current Mid - Swan, Pend, Murphy, Montag, Conca, Hibb, Swallow. Harris, Wallis. All, any, answers greatly appreciated in advance. P.
Well I've upset the SC Gods - surely. I forgot to sacrifice that goat last week... I had my plans on Swallow> I.Smith, and Harris> Mundy. With Watto out (after I got him in last week) and now I.Smith not playing.... Out comes the drawiing board again!
@ Hot Pies - Thompson. There's a post in amonst these pages with a list of Freo's games - all look good for Freo players. I'd only hold Lower for a little while longer though. Also Crows have Pies this week.... Def get Selwood this week and if you can get Mundy next
@Paul74 yarran is scoring ok any other areas need attention if not you should wait until mzungu is on the bubble before trading, harris > boyd is good
