I note Holky's comment above 'about seeing the scores from last night and not needing to make changes'...... I was under the impression that as this is not a split round, no changes could be made after the opening bounce of the ball. I need clarification once more on what constitutes a split round and what doesn't. I've already lost one match because I made changes after the opening bounce. As I understand it, all teams were final as of the opening bounce last night. Hi Choppers, below is from the official rules thread: 'cc) Matches on Thursday will be locked out at the start of the game, but games for the rest of the round will be locked out at the beginning of the game on Friday'. Thanks Damo......understand now. Got a bit going on over here , so got myself a little confused.....

Late change forPakenham. In Garlett out Lamb to emg. Going with the acquired players theme. HopingGarlett kicks 3+ and has a day out, without the vest!

Late change for the Sandgropers, J Stringer moves to Int(E) and Charlie Cameron moves into Fwd line. Here's hoping he can replicate his last home game.

It's half-time at The Stadium and the Barcrawlers have crawled their way, slowly but surely, back into the contest. The Panthers are now leading 4/310 (av 77.5) to the local team's 5/327 (Av65.4)............or maybe the Barcrawlers are leading 327 - 310......I don't know......it all depends which way you want to look at it.....I'm so glad the curfew has been extended.......55555

Quarter time and the Smugglers seem to have an early lead, the current score is 4/373 to Eden's 1/144... but the Whalers are about to get into gear.

At quarter time in Manangatang its the local Orangutans leading the visiting Prospectors. Manangatang: 163 / 3 / 54.3 Hayes 108 Delaney 55 Grundy 0 Coolgardie: 115 / 1 / 115 JP Kennedy - I'll give you one guess what his score was! :)

The ORFFL is where Walesy is, so I presume he uses their rules. 2 things we can do - change the rule to be in line, or be honest. I don't mind, but it might just be easier to fall into line with the ORFFL.

Gisborne McVeigh - 92, Grundy - 60, Pearce, Hombsch - 101 (Harwood) Thomas, Douglas, Steven - 78, Hill (Wellingham) Maric (Daw) Riewoldt, Casboult, Podsiadly, Billings - 33 (Lennon) Masten, West Score: 364/5 at 72.8 Comments: McVeigh slightly sub par in an absolute demolition. Billings shocking, possibly dropped next week - it feels weird to be able to drop people since I have enough players to do so :p. Hombsch a great score. 81 to Seedsman (a late in for Collingwood so not selected anywhere), hopefully he stays on the park. Rats Lumumba - 76, Jaensch, Hibberd, McKenzie (Broughton) Vince - 98, Cross - 82, Sheppard, Treloar (Hutchings) Minson Edwards, Adams, Fasolo, Wingard - 10 (Westhoff) Jamar 54, Taylor (McDonald) Score: 320/5 at 64 Comments: Vince and Cross did well in a 3 quarter Melbourne effort, Jamar not so much. Wingard injured, but didn't look like a weeks-out injury. Game summary to date: 17th placed Gisborne come up against 7th placed Ararat. After a good 3 week break, Gisborne appear to be nearing their potential finally, after a horrible start the the year. Players back from injury certainly helps. Ararat are not travelling well - maybe the Biggest Loser didn't help after all. Yet to ton up, a Wingard ten certainly doesn't help. That could be counter-balanced slightly by the West injury to Gisborne, but at the moment Ararat are comfortably in the back seat chasing Gisborne. Ain't it great to have FU action back. Very good to see the byes gone!

    Hey Coaches,

Regarding the lock-out issue, please see below comment and confirmation from the commissioner on the 20/03/14 in this thread.

    Eagle_Eye said:
'Just to make sure, the split round (rule aa) overrides the Thursday match (rule cc). So I can change my team before each match if I want for the rest of this round?

Copied from 'The Real 'FU Rules Discussion' thread:

aa) There will be a rolling lockout open during all split rounds. Each time it will close at the start of a game, the exact same as SC

bb) Any non-split rounds will be locked out at the beginning of the first match of the week

cc) Matches on Thursday will be locked out at the start of the game, but games for the rest of the round will be locked out at the beginning of the game on Friday.'

    Tomster said:
    'You are entirely correct'.

Apologies for the lack of updates at Groper Park, been flat out and it hasn't finished yet! There'll be a comprehensive match review posted later tonight.
