Thanks for fixing up the fixture, let's hope the Cuda's can fix up the Whalers as well.

What's happening to Hawkers team, is someone entering his team? Has there been a decision made regarding?

I didn't do the team last week, but whoever did made some minor changes from the R13 team. Since we're now at half time in the Cats-Dons game, I've put in a team for Manangatan - exactly the same as R14.

Groper Park score update; Half way through the first quarter (can I call 1 game down from 9 that?) and it's a tight affair with the home town Sandgropers 5/437/87 edging the visiting Bulls 3/258/86. One things for sure, coming up against an OOP Reid in the rucks, Ryder will have his 7th head to head win of the season as he inches his way up the Giant tap leader board.

You'll have to ask TTT because he knows more than I do, but I think it was hawks that entered his team last week. That's all I know, maybe TTT can jump in and catch us all up to speed.

Late in the 3rd at Groper Park and the home town side (12/1072/89) have opened up a handy lead over the visiting Bulls (13/926/71). If Southern Cross pull off the win there will be some questions asked of the board after it was decided last week that the team was playing for a high draft position, can't win when we want, can't tank when we want!

Half time at the Eden Sporting Complex (name finalised) and Groote Eylandt have a narrow lead (8/709) (av 88.62) over the Eden Whalers 7/613 (av 87.57). Both sides playing for finals contention let's hope the Whalers have a little more in tank to win. Cotchin probably will get the 3 for his 168 though.

At the end of Saturday night (are we calling it half time or 3/4 time?) its the home side Prospectors trailing the visiting Budgie Smugglers by one point and one player. The big news though is that Mummy is in danger of losing his first genuine ruck contest! [IMG] <div>

At the end of play Saturday at The Stadium, Banchang Barcrawlers, 9/858 (av.95.33) have hit the lead over the visiting Korumburra Blowflies, 9/720 (av.80) with some good scores for the 'Crawlers coming from Selwood 138, Gibson 128 and David Swallow 127, while the Blowies have been well served by Goldstein 122, Johnson 114 and Motlop 98.

Score update from Pakenham. The home team has a nice lead over the Rat pack. The home crowd isn't getting to excited just yet but a loss from here would be a disaster. Poor scores from some of Ararats likely types would have the coach frustrated, adding to his pain the great man and big bud have stared. Ararat would be hoping for a big comeback. Scores Paky 869 for 9 Ararat 651 for 8 Don't right off a draw from here ;)

I managed to read two PMs, and see that Holky sent me 5, so I currently have 3 unread PMs. I read the first one from you choppers, but couldn't read the others after 'undefinederror' appeared in yellow. Gisborne 955/11 at 86.8 per player. Tons from Harwood and Riewoldt has helped propel Gisborne into the position they are in, while a 146 from Hill has set a new record for the highest score from a Grenade. Congratulations Stephen! A surprising 94 from Longer and 116 from the ever-consistent Deledio have been the shining lights in a poor Serengeti performance. 575/8 at 71 per player. So far, Gisborne has controlled the match, but with good players still left to come from Serengeti the match could turn into a closely fought contest.

Tightening up out in Paky, the home side is 1071 for 12 against 988 for 11 for Ararat. Simpson, Beams and Sidebum v Jaensch, HarryO, the Hoff and Wingard. Any ones game at this stage, although the draw is still on the cards.

It's been a see-sawing contest at Blanchetown with the small forwards of both teams putting on a show. Bunyips 1069 + Pendles + Dwyer Monarchs 1204 + Henderson Can Pendlebury lead his side home or will much-maligned Lachie be the hero?

Gisborne 1093/13 + Casboult + Seedsman Serengeti 886/12 + Murphy + Elliott + McLean Serengeti look down an out. Sylvia not playing with no forward line coverage has killed most hope, although it is not impossible for Gisborne to lose. If they don't lose, Gisborne will have a 2 game winning streak, and a slight chance of finals. Slight, but it is there :D GO GRENADES!

Full time at Groper Park and the home team pull off a memorable win against fancied opposition. The 15th placed Sandgropers (15/1362/91) have beaten the 7th place Bulls (15/1156/77). When all we wanted to do was improve our draft position the boys have come out and shown their home town fans a glimpse of their potential with their highest score for the season and itincluded a 34 from defence sub Sam Day and 40 from interchange defender Adam Kennedy. Full match report to follow...............

The final siren has blown, and Gisborne's slim finals chances have been kept alive. A solid performance from most of the boys, although 3 sub 55 scores won't be good enough against KIM. Team selection becomes vital this week, as any loss erases all hope for the Grenades. Two wins in a row, and that form must be continued. In the end, both teams performed at an average level, although it was simply the fact that Serengeti had 6 sub 60 scores that gave Gisborne the win. Gisborne were not much better, as mentioned earlier, although a starring 146 from Hill earned him BOG for the game and highest ever score from a Grenade. Dangerfield, Deledio and Pittard all topped the ton for the Bufffaloes, but in the end Gisborne was too strong.

Would be pretty disappointed if 1076 was an average level for the Buffaloes! Haven't been in great form lately but even with injured players excluded, averages suggest 1200+. Just too many players out of form at the moment, and a few of the young Buff's starting to feel the effects of a long season I think.
