Halfway through the last quarter at Serengeti but the Whalers are holding a slight lead with 13/1030 (av. 79.23) over Serengeti Buffaloes 13/983 (av. 75.62) Griffen and Wood still to play for Eden on Guthrie and Varcoe for Serengeti.
Looks like the Barcrawlers didn't enter a team this week so can't give a score update. I'm a bit confused about the rules around no team entry now, does the coach automatically get a zero or does last week's lineup get used?
The Smugglers continued their giant killing ways knocking off the Goannas in Flying Fish Cove 1236 - 1147. It was the second week in a row that Christmas Island has managed to knock off the top-ranked team, and extends their winning streak to eight games. In what was a terrible game in all honesty, only 5 players broke the ton. Luckily for CIFC they had four centurions (Hartlett, Judd, Martin & McIntosh) to the Goon's one (Bartel).
There were some extenuating circumstances fresh which need not be disclosed. He will be allowed to enter a team if he wishes
I'll leave a match report up to Tylo, but he might be hiding away in shame. I will ask you all one question - who has the second largest win streak in the league?
Final Score: Eden 1197 defeated Serengeti 1137 Full report to follow later but although defeated in the midfield, Eden's score came from other sources with Suban 114 and Griffen 107 coming off the bench to ace the game. BAFFU Votes: Murphy 3, Suban 2, Griffen 1

Pakenham have ended the Bulls unbeaten streak at home in a tight 10 point win. 1162 - 1152. The Bulls were looking likely victors until a late out in James Kelly mean't Harry Cunningham's 47 was included. Since the midseason byes the Bulls have struggled to post a score above 1200 and have a a 2-4 record which means finals are off the table unlesss a dramatic form reversal can be found. The win has come at a cost for Pakenham with GAJ going down with a shoulder injury which may see him missing until finals and the rest of the season.
I've noticed TTT hasn't posted the match review yet, but couldn't wait any longer. The Sandgropers claimed their second top 8 scalp within a fortnight on their way to posting a season high 1456 points which would have been enough to smash every team in the league. Round 15 saw the Bullsget knocked out of the 8 and in round 16 Pearcedale's top 4 ambitions took a hit. Fair enough there were some out of the box performances (Hansen 134 WTF?) but better scores from the better players and improved performances from the youngsters has hopes high in the goldfields. If Day had been on the park his ton would have helped break the magical 1500 point mark. Won't make the 8 this season but will definitely have a say in the final ladder postions! The only negative being that 2 weeks ago we were looking at pick 4, now were in line for pick 6. In a season where there'll be no ultimate glory let's hope we don't move too much further up the ladder.
Final Score Groote Eylandt (Barracudas) 1,241 def Manangutan (Orangutans) 614 The home team got off to big start with Captain Cotchin again on fire picking up a massive 37 disposals leading the Barracuda’s at every quarter. Young Bontempelli also backed up his performance from last week with 2 goals and 21 disposals this kids is an absolute star. Cunnington was solid with 17 disposals and Gibbs was locked down with a heavy tag and collected only 14 disposals. Another fantastic performance from Lewis picking up 22 disposals and booting a goal. His consistency is his weapon of choice. Mzungu slotted 2 goals in his return to the field, he also collected 20 disposals. Derickx still on walk about so young Frost chipped in but had no real impact on the game. Defence were solid all round being led by Frawley with his 17 disposals, Burgoyne and Mohr were great, Burgoyne got one through the sticks and grabbed 22 disposals with Mohr collecting 12 disposals. Murphy picked up the crumbs with his 17 disposals. Zorko is his role as a small forward ran on even after a tweak on his ankle in the 3rd quarter. He threaded 2 goals and picked up 21 disposals. Darling increased his out this week including kicking the first goal of the game and collected 17 disposals. Goodes was on fire today slamming through 3 big goals and gathered up 10 disposals. Unfortunately for Watts he underperformed but still managed a goal and picking up 17 disposals. A lack lustred performance from all but a handful of Orangutans. Greenwood starred with 2 goals and 27 disposals. Hanley hung outside the packs all day for cheap stats like a seagull waiting for your french fries with a massive 34 disposals. Menzel booted 2 goals and picked up 9 disposals. Other notable performances came from Grimes 20 disposals, Grundy 10 hit-outs and Bugg with 1 goal and 8 disposals. Away with the family for the week so it's just a brief match report from the phone. The absence of a ruck man and the skipper Pav left the monarchs without any direction, despite the good performance of Lachie in the match he's been setting himself for. Although the grenades were also a man down, big Ivan took full advantage of not having an opponent to dominate the match and lead the visitors to the win.

Thanks heaps Tyze for the match up dates, sorry I didn't post my team prior to the match, I had a fair bit going on. A tight contest between us in both leagues mate, I was wiping the sweat off the brow sunday night. Very happy to have scrapped home although at a cost. I still think your team in the UF has a good finals chance, good luck mate.
