I thought we could with a Thursday night game. From the rules: 'cc) Matches on Thursday will be locked out at the start of the game, but games for the rest of the round will be locked out at the beginning of the game on Friday'

mmm i thought that just meant you didnt have to name your whole team, not that you could do shenanigans. dont get me wrong, if i had any freo or carlton players id be keen as mustard to do the same thing, i just thought we outlawed that! could be mistaken tho!

I seem to remember doing it before, but I could easily be getting confused with the split rounds. Although is there any real difference between naming a team with only Freo/Carl players as emergencies and listing a full team which is then changed (assuming the changes are to non-locked out players)?

Hey Commish, Did you forget there was a game on tonight? Not listing your team prior to kick-off is a BIG No-No...... So how many Freo/Carlton players were you planning on playing, or this just another way of 'tanking' to get a better draft pick in the upcoming PSD......Hmmmm!

Early days in the Sandgropers/Monarchs match and it's the home team (Sandgropers)on 3/323/107 (thanks to Fyfe's season high 171)versus the away team 0/0/0 (until Henderson is loopholed into the side that is).

For a non-standard start to the weekend (ie, any weekend that doesn't start on a Friday night) we agreed that the early start games would be locked in prior to that game starting, but all other games / players wouldn't be locked in until after the full teams announcement was made, so the normal Friday. That sounds confusing, and I wrote it. Basically - Thursday games = free loophole opportunity on those players, all other games locked as normal prior to bouncedown Friday night.

    Update Crocs team

In: J Martin, Gawn, C Beams, J Merrett, Honeychurch
Out: Everitt, D Simpson, Ceglar, Scully, Cameron, Paparone

    Def: Garland, Schoe, D Talia
Mid: Libba, B Ellis, J Martin, K Stevens
    Ruc: Gawn
Fwd: Gunston, Patton, Honeychurch, J Merrett
    Int: Hrovat, C Beams

Without enough fit players I'll be one short in defence.

I will in fact admit that I did forget about the game last night. My apologies, not meaning to look like tanking, although who knows about my real intentions :D Team selected without Carlton and Fremantle players Neale 143, Casboult 81 and Hill 80 :(

He also has Seedsman and Wellingham both non-starters. He has Hombsch as def.Emergency so defence is OK but he needs to move either Daw or Billings to take Wellingham's spot. Might need to send this one straight to the Tribunal........

The Panthers are off to a flyer at the Cove, holding a 351/3 (117) to 331/4 (83) lead over the Smugglers. Pearcedale's Swans' forwards completely dominated Christmas Island's Swan forward, with Parker (129) and McGlynn (130) showing Kurt (44) how it's done. TTT is backing in his midfield of Ray, Bennell and Conca, choosing to leave Daisy's 101 on the bench.
