What happened with Pearcedales team entry last week? Was it going to be entered? Or are we going with the ladder as is? Tipping Yad would be shattered. Makes a massive difference if Pearcedale beat Ararat last week. I was thinking I would choose Ararat if they are in the finals. Pakenham v Ararat first final or if things change Pakenham v Coolgardie. Some info needed commish thanks

The Lucky Find PSD is also affected as Ben McGlynn would have won had Pearcedale fielded a team... I think we're going with the current setup though but we'll have to wait for Tomster's ruling to be sure.

Very pleased to have taken out the minor premiership, A lot of luck along the way has helpedwith some timely scores from the lesser lightsin some gamesto help get the job done. Losing Ablett has hurt my chances for the flag, but with a little more luck who knows......At least I can hang my hat on something, minor premier isa good thinga successful year without a doubt. Having first pick in finals is very important, no doubt ill make the wrong choice and be straight out. Thinking either Coolgardie or Ararat first final. Ill fill you guys in tonight. When is the cutoff for finals matchups? before teams are announced or after? Im thinking before teams are announced Im still working off of percentages :p

It's getting very late in the week to be changing things regarding Pearcedale's team last week. I think something has to be decided tonight or it stays as is. Also concerned that it's a big call to ride on 1 person's decision. Should it be put to a vote? And if so, should the vote maybe be just the people who aren't effected? ie. the bottom 7 teams. Of course the worry is at this late stage, we wouldn't get enough people voting. Just putting it out there as an idea.

Great thoughts Tylo, agree with everything you have written. A vote would be the best but a little hard like you said. Its a hard one for all involved I'm easy either way

I don't think it's a big call at all. All season regardless of rules any team not posted got the last posted team and that's been the applied rule from the Commish so why is TTT's team being the exception in round 20???

By TTT's own admission he was fielding a team it just didn't save, therefore a team should be recorded as being played be it last posted team or the one he intended to post, which would most probably have been 95% as his last posted team anyway.

I hadn't posted anything before regarding this issue as I thought in the Commish post regarding the missing teams that the last posted team would be entered if he didn't get any replies on the site (responding to dd re: blowflys).

The only and correct call is a team must be entered for TTT round 20, simple, end of story.

Fwiw I had the same team not saved issue 2 weeks ago during the split round where my changes didn't save. Only noticed after the Fri night game so re entered as per my posted team

I don't really care but I'm pretty sure not every team that missed team entry during the year was re entered after the round had finished, we had a few donuts from teams. It doesn't bother me either way really. It's a shame it's turned out like this. Could be a lot easier

Either way, I'm tipping both teams would have been knocked out first round. Good luck to all those playing this weekend

The Cuda's also take exception that we'd be bundled out in the first round of the finals as well especially with last weeks score of 1,368, 3 game average of 1,316 & a 5 game average of 1,289.

7hs til 'lockout' tick tick tick The commish has made the call, which is what he is elected to do and full marks for making a call which we should abide by! However given the precedent set throughout the year (teams is submitted based on last round) I agree Cuda that you have been hard done by. I think I have been hypnotized by my twitter feed 'precendent' and all the AFL / ASADA / EFC legal speak this week. Good luck to those playing finals this week it looks like my bulls may be going back to the dance with Goondiwindi again with some key inclusions for them and a key out for us!

Are there any volunteers for some not biased commentary, analysis, wrap up, predictions for the finals games (once scheduling is set)? Would be good to get a post on the main page!!

On the road again so won't have access to TSLeagues until tomorrow. CIFC 1st week finals: D: Johnson, Harbrow, Suckling, MacKenzie (Gilbert) M: Heppell, Judd, Hartlett, Tyson (Hoskins-Elliot) R: McIntosh F: Martin, Wright, Tippett, Dixon (Dawes) I: Gaff, Horlin-Smith (Witts) In: Dixon Out: White The trip to Blanchetown holds fond memories for the boys, as they ran out comfortable winners there earlier in the season. Fingers crossed for a similar result this weekend against the Bunyips. YAD - not sure if it's consolation or not, but I think if Pearcedale's score stood they would have jumped over you into the 8.
