I'm easy either way but didn't Ararat finish 5th? KIM is the in-form team isnt it? Rightfully so that you needn't worry which opposition you streamroll this week. ive got no idea where i finished so cant help you out there I thought it was KIM(3) v SFB(8) and AA(5) v CIS(6) but have been wrong before. Anyways with Dixon, Suckling and now Heppell out the Smugglers aren't going to be much of a threat to whoever they play. Ask walesy for the end of home and away ladder or something maybe? *Edit - regardless of opposition my team is set anyway. Once again feeling for you blokes who copped it earlier on - no minson, broughton, harryO, coniglio, moloney (thanks leppa), sheppard and wallis. awesome... **Edit #2: probably be more interesting if i actually listed my team wouldnt it?!?! jaensch mckenzie mcdonald hibberd (mullett) vince cross hutchings treloar (taylor) jamar westhoff edwards fasolo wingard[span style='background: #ffffff;](adams) lonergan broomhead

CIFC Preliminary Final D: Johnson, MacKenzie, Harbrow, Suckling (Keeffe) M: Hartlett, Judd, Gaff, Tyson (Hoskins-Elliot) R: McIntosh F: Martin, White, Wright, Tippett (Dawes) I: Gilbert, Horlin-Smith (Witts) In: White, Keeffe Out: Heppell, Dixon Horlin-Smith won the battle of 'two-dads' to take the final spot in the line-up over Will Hoskins-Elliot. Sure to be the first of many selection errors made this weekend... Looking forward to the fine hospitality at Ararat (or Staghorn Flat).

Staghorn Flat can confirm with some confidence that we did finish 8th so my understanding is that we will face King Island. Team to be released later today - After avoiding most of the carnage this week big boy McEvoy gets the chop which hurts immensely - adv Monarchs

Late change for the Smugglers - Hoskins-Elliot takes Horlin-Smith's spot on the interchange. No mid emergency named.

its early in the third as King Island and Staghorn Flat go toe to toe. With Natanui a late out and McEvoy already omitted (a least with a replacement)its left the Bulls with a window of opportunity. As its stands we see the Bulls leading the Monarchs 796 / 9 / 88 v 720 / 9/ 80 The faith shown in the Bulls younger brigade has seen Josh Kelly score 107 , Bastinac 127, Lynch 112 and Buntine 84 (42 oop) all major contributors. All to play for in a spot in a gf on the line.

It's going to come down to the wire at Ararat, with the Armadillos holding a slight advantage 1103/14 (78.8) to 849/11 (77.2). Shane Edwards plus 254 points for Ararat versus Johnson, Tippett, Martin and Gilbert for Christmas Island.

Sorry to rock your boat here, Damo, but Martin is a late out, so you're saddled with Dawes's 61. Might make things a bit tougher now. <div class='changeup in' style='color: #2e2e2e; margin-bottom: 7px; padding-bottom: 7px; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-color: #cccccc; background: #f2f2f2;] <p class='boxy' style='width: 32px; margin-bottom: 0px;][span style='color: white; height: 17px; width: 25px; margin-bottom: 0.25em; text-align: center; background: #006633;]IN <ul style='width: 245px; margin-bottom: 2px; margin-left: 0px; list-style-type: none;] <li class='last' style='padding-top: 2px; padding-bottom: 2px;]Reece Conca</li> </ul> <div class='changeup out' style='color: #2e2e2e; margin-bottom: 7px; padding-bottom: 7px; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-color: #cccccc; background: #f2f2f2;] <p class='boxy' style='width: 32px; margin-bottom: 0px;][span style='color: white; height: 17px; width: 25px; margin-bottom: 0.25em; text-align: center; background: #cc0000;]OUT <ul style='width: 245px; margin-bottom: 2px; margin-left: 0px; list-style-type: none;] <li class='last' style='padding-top: 2px; padding-bottom: 2px;]Dustin Martin(Injured)</li> </ul> <div class='changeup change' style='color: #2e2e2e; margin-bottom: 7px; padding-bottom: 7px; border-bottom-style: none; background: #f2f2f2;] <p class='straightup' style='margin-top: 1em; margin-bottom: 1em;]MILESTONES: <ul style='width: auto; margin-bottom: 2px; margin-left: 0px; list-style-type: none;] <li style='padding-top: 2px; padding-bottom: 2px;]Shane Edwards - Playing 150th game,</li> <li class='last' style='padding-top: 2px; padding-bottom: 2px;]Jake Batchelor - Playing 50th game</li> </ul>

Wow, who would've thought that Ararat would be making the GF after the end of year they have had! I still reckon Xmas can win the whole comp, but who knows. It ain't over until that fat lady sings!

I'm less keen on that equation! Seems like the Smugglers season is relying on Kurt kicking a bag against the Dogs.

Well done tyze. Our boys battled on gamely a man down but the Bulls were far too strong. Rockliff was unstoppable and it could have been a record FU score had you had a recognised ruckman. Good luck in the big one. Final Score Bulls 1441 Monarchs 1241

Congrats to the Grand Finalists... I look forward to a big match! Whilst the rest of us lament over what could have been and how we could have beaten x by y amount of points. (Personally I stopped looking at scores when Gray busted out his 174) I think we have a fantastic competetion with active participation from everyone. Thanks everyone.

Well done to both the Armadillos and Bulls for making the inaugural GF. Just goes to show that even the best drafting can't account for injury carnage. Bet you guys can't wait for the big match and the bragging rights that will come with winning. With the rest of us either drowning our sorrows or planning for next season, enjoy your time in the sun boys! Definitely great to see a close comp with what I think was only 2 wins between 1st & 8th, bring on 2015!!!
