I'll show you what I thought my team would look like with predicted averages in brackets and real averages next to them. My pre-season estimates are very wrong, and not all of it is my fault for bad estimations. Too many players not pulling their weight. Too many injuries. The real averages do not include this week <p style='color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 10px;] McVeigh (102) 89.5, Grundy (75) 90, Seedsman (87) 0, Hombsch (85) 82 Steven (112) 0, Masten (105) 87.5, Douglas (102) 117, Hill (95) 98.5 Maric (100) 0 Riewoldt (90) 57, Podsiadly (75) 31.5, Billings (75) 14, Lennon/Lee/Kommer (75) 0 Wellingham (85) 84, Harwood (80) injury affected 42 So, rather under performing by my estimates. 12 players below my estimates. 5 first choice players yet to play a game. Injuries don't help. Forward line has nobody who is averaging above 57. Only 1 person averaging 100 so far. Long season though, fingers crossed it improves. Sorry for the rant and any other whinging I;ve been doing, had to get it out somewhere. C'mon Commish. Chin up, old boy. Things are starting to look up for you and it's only Rd3. Posiadly came good with 117 (good selection that haha!) and Jack finally turned it around. Then there's the very consistent Douglas and Hill keeping the midfield firing. Billings kicked 5 in the VFL yesterday and Lee was one of their best so a call up to the seniors might not be far away. And once you get Wellingham and Steven back on the park, then the wins will start to come. Unfortunately, it will probably be against my team.

Round 19, after the MSD, after I get back Christensen, Seedsman, Maric and Steven. The thing about improving is that with the position I'm in it is hard not too improve :p. Also, where'd you read about the VFL? Could you post a link to the website? Cheers mate

Southern Cross 1058/14/76 defeated by Blanchetown 1217/15/81. Well it had to happen sometime. Missing both Ryder and Fyfe was always going to make it difficult, but then for LeCras to go down early and Kerridge cop a finger in the eye only made the difficult impossible. Some outstanding individual performances by Mitch Duncan (142), Buddy (130) and Shuey (113) were counter acted by injuries (LeCras 20 & Kerridge 37) and just down right poor performances (Fitzpatrick 37 & Last weeks POOYA winner Yarran 47). Blanchetown took the match with some more even performances, with higher scores form Prestia (126), Pendlebury (115), Jacobs (112) & S.Selwood (111) and only 1 score below 50 coming from the usually reliable Mayne (35). The Sandgropers know they will be missing Fyfe again next week but will be hoping for a quick recovery from Ryder to help sure up their ruck stocks and if possible some match time for the younger players so they can field a full team. The Bulls have maintained their strong home form making it 2 from 2 at Mill Park. In a tight contest it was the returning Rockliff who lifted his side to victory with a cracking 35 disposal 3 goal game. Luke Dunstan starred for Serengeti however McLean's omission saw a 78 point victory for the Bulls. Ibbotson's returned was short lived and will add to the growing injury list at the Bulls. Votes 3 Rockliff (155 SFB) 2 Dunstan (143 Ser) 1 Boyd (129 SFB)

Late change: McLean out (m emergency), savage in (interchange) Doesn't make any difference to the result but I posted a late change on here Friday night before games started. No internet at home means only phone web accessibility and the tsLeagues page is def not mobile friendly just yet. Would increase total score by 56 with the permanent-sub Savage having his score counted. Probably worth clarifying before it could change the result of a game, do all changes need to be made in tsLeagues or are time-stamped forum posts sufficient?

Final Score Pearcedale (Panthers) 1,231 def Groote Eylandt (Barracudas) 1,230

Big performers for the Panthers was Luke Parker with 4 goals, 26 disposals, it was a stand our performance as the dominate midfielder for the home side. Off the interchange came strong performances from Conna and Howe with 18 & 23 disposals to run rings around the visitors in which they controlled the clearances.
A solid game from the Panthers defence in which Gibson and Shaw teamed up well to shut done the visitors forward line. Bell wore the green vest and came on late in the game.
It was an arm wrestle all day but in this tight match the Panthers kept their work rate up to take home the points. The purrs of victor could be heard for miles around as they licked their paws with satisfaction.

The Barracudas got started early with team captain Cotchin riding shot gun to spark his team to almost carrying the Barracudas over the line with his 1 goal and 25 disposals. Lewis was strong with 37 disposals as was the other interchange player Hannebery.
Darling was impressive in patches with his 1 goal and 17 disposals, he had plenty of kicks but just couldn’t make their mark. Nicholls continued his performance in the ruck with a good hit out rate and the Cuda’s midfielders were good for the majority of the game.
Unfortunately this week the defensive line starting show cracks when under pressure however the diminutive Zorko had an absolute shocker even with collecting a heap of disposals he was well held all day by the Panthers.
In the seconds Cunnington (a massive 30 disposals) and Spencer had great games, the team selection committee themselves will be under the blow torch after leaving these guys out of the seniors especially in a 1 point loss on the road.

ORFFU BOG votes: 3 M.Duncan (142) 2 L.Franklin (130) 1 D.Prestia (126) Good write up mate, thanks. Got a bit lucky again this week with some underperformers. My team seems to be doing enough to get over the line each week... Which is good now, but will need to be better for the finals!

The fans are cheering out at Coolgardie, as the home-team Prospectors stared down the visiting Cow Bay Crocs and smiled all day long! Even with the coach making some poor selection decisions, including picking a couple of players out of position, the Prospectors maintained their perfect start to the ORFFU season with a 169.5 point win. Pakenham v Banchang match report I hard fought tight contest for the hole match, which wasn't decided until late in the last quarter. Winderlichs 4th goal proved telling in theend. Banchang had some solid contributors across the park, with Slammin Sam, Crameri and Winderlich doing the damage. The contest between Ablett (182)and J.Selwood(138) wasworthy of top billing, with GAJ doing all he couldto keep the Parasites in front for a short period. It was poor efforts from first gamers Viney (55) and Crouch (sub 45) which have raisedsome questions with the match committee. The fans expected more from them both. Losing Barlow has put a massive dent in the Parasites armour. Pakenham 2 and 1now have the pressure mounting with key players out and a trip to undefeatedBlanchtown next week. Banchang 2 and 1host Coolgardie next weekwhich will be another tough game for the Bar Crawlers. Pakenham Scores B. Merrett 75, Carlisle 83, K.Simpson 86, L.Brown 53 M. Ablett 182, Beams 103, Sidebum 131, Viney 55 R. Pyke 86 F. N.Roo 86, Higgins 76, Day, 92, C.Sinclair OOP 18 I. Polec 71, Crouch 45 1242 Banchang Scores B. Commish?? Id say it has to be in tsLeagues as it was earlier stated that this thread is more 'for fun' and to keep the activity high rather than officialdom

Eden vs Goondiwindi match report: They say this is a midfielder's game... Our midfield score was 198 to Goondiwindi's 414. Hale and Boomer did well up forward though (111 and 114) but in the end it wasn't enough, just need to regroup and get ready for next week, (Hopefully by then Griffen (49 this week) has found form). Good effort from Goondiwindi too, showing us why they're on top of the ladder. Both sides have injury worries following a collision between Scott Thompson and Daniel Rich left both damaged and Rich worse for wear. Just wanted to ensure everyone was aware of the below rules: aa) There will be a rolling lockout open during all split rounds. Each time it will close at the start of a game, the exact same as SC bb) Any non-split rounds will be locked out at the beginning of the first match of the week cc) Matches on Thursday will be locked out at the start of the game, but games for the rest of the round will be locked out at the beginning of the game on Friday
I thought I had seen some late team changes after the Friday games so wanted to clarify that there is only a rolling lockout for split rounds otherwise the teams cannot be changed after bouncedown on a Friday night. If I am wrong please correct me ;)
