Torn between sex on the beach and a happy ending.
Might go a happy ending with an expensive R3 (fraser or petrie) - then prematurely slaughter for an early midfield upgrade.

I'm happy that they don't overdo the MPP designation. Makes it more difficult, which shuold make the final teams more varied and competition better. The real problem this year, imo, is the lack of quality cheap options, and the unknown of the second ruck in the year of the Sub.

I agree there should be a lot more ruck MPP, particularly with the new sub rule. Yes it is more challenging without it, but really SC should follow reality as closely as possible.

Majak Daw would've been a nice DPP.

Much to my suprise, Sex on the Beach is looking like the safest option, with Cox finally proving himself in my eyes against the Pies. Jolly and Ryder were underwhelming.

Can someone enlighten me to "Sex on the Beach"? Sorry, I think I live in a cave sometimes...

Here you go mate, all the titles summed up here:

Quote from Lucas on March 4, 2011, 15:54
So just so we're clear:

Sex on the Beach - Sandilands / Cox
Lady Gaga - Cox / Ryder
Happy Ending - Jolly / Cox
Hickory Dickory - Vickery / Derickx / Cox
Self worship - Hale / Cox

I'm sure we can think of others that are not combinations involving the BIG man from the West Coast...

I was thinking:
Dressage - Jolly-Ryder

You can do a few with Petrie if we use his nickname: Droopy

Following this line of thought:

Impotence - Petrie / Cox

I've gone for the Lady Gaga ruck set up with Fraser as R3 and probably Smith R4.

Relatively content that this set up allows me to put some money in elsewhere where it could be better spent - perhaps forward or back.

Did originally have Sex on the Beach but right now can't justify the pricetag (geez we could have some fun with the double entendres here).

Fraser Cox could be PM in Memphis haha

OK so he was just an ex PM then but it's still pretty funny

Or am I showing my age... :D

My rucks now look like this...

Sandi
Jolly
McCauley
Smith

Had Vickery in at R3 but his price was too much to be on the bench for mine.

Thoughts?

Gaga might be the go if your going to run that bench. will gain you some cash but with Smith going to get limited games your really rolling the dice on no injuries imo.

Took your advice Crew and have now gone with Cox, Ryder, Smith and McCauley.

Opened up an extra 173000 for me. Trying to work out whether my mids or my backs need it.
