Let's talk later then for sure, I will be flagging off season activity in the Misfires thread later, but effectively I'd like to move 3 very good young players out, one from St Kilda and 2 from GWS, 3 if Toby comes back. Swap them for same level of talent/promise from other clubs, all deals should be win/win... I'd hoped that GWS would lose players faster than they are and I am now paying the price for the fact that they have not.

After hanging on to A Miles for 2 years and finally giving up on him being elevated from the rookie list, the Tigers elevate him the week after I trade him and then, and only then, he decides to become the star I expected him to be. I've hated the Tigers since 1966 and this is just another reason why I got that right oh so long ago. Where's my 1982 GF DVD?

After two years of not giving me much, been happy with Shane Mumford this year. Also happy with pivking up Matthew Jaensch in the 50's of the pre-season draft this year. TBH, I am happy with most of my players, they generally perform, the problem is their coach who doesn't pick the right ones to perform week to week consistently. Probably my disappointments are Leigh Adams and Jack Trengove. After a really good first year in AFL (pre-ORFFA) he hasn't done anything and while I like Patch as a player he is too inconsistent. Garrick Ibbotson's year has been a touch disappointing, but hopefully he is starting to turn it around a bit.

[span style='color: #ff0000;]Success stories: MIDFIELD TRIO: - D.Swallow has had a breakout season and has been ultra consistent. - D.Shiel has lived up to the hype in the past 7 weeks, scoring 4 tons and looks to be settling in at AFL level now. - D.Prestia's emergence into the elite bracket of midfielders. Also Lynden Dunn's magnificent season, Scott Lycett's solid back-up role for Cox who has now became somewhat of a regular for West Coast, and Nick Malceski's great form after we picked him up during the mid-season trade period. [span style='color: #ff0000;]Failures: - The long-term injury to Jobe Watson which has tested the depth of our team. - Nathan Vardy's season ending injury during his first year at Wagga Wagga. Also Ryan Bastinac's mediocre season, and the slight inconsistency of both Lindsay Thomas and Shaun Higgins.
