HAHA of course I am concerned! IK would be labeled the biggest chokers in ORFFA Well on Tuesday some of the INs were still unknown, although maybe predictable, dont forget I got Shuey back also. Powletts scoring has been down and this was the reason I selected them. As Prap mentioned though a few could be underdone, and the sub vest might shaft one or both of us. The best team will win, if thats Powlett then they deserve to progress and my boys will pay for their Les W Party antics!
I'm not so sure Chris... I think Gunston will be carrying an injury in, and losing LeCras hurts. I'm still expecting Stephen Hill to be a late withdrawal, given the opposition they are up against this week they will not want to risk him. Could be a cracking match... I'll be watching tonights game with interest!
Based on last weeks scoring, we have some cracking games coming this weekend. Important to note though that some players didn't play last week and therefore had zeroes (S. Hill in my team for example) Assuming Chels puts in the same team... here are the results if they were played last week: Iron Knob 1310 [span class='Apple-tab-span' style='white-space: pre;] Powlett Plains 1015 Waikikamoocow 1406[span class='Apple-tab-span' style='white-space: pre;] Birdsville 1283 Foul Bay 1383 [span class='Apple-tab-span' style='white-space: pre;] Wagga Wagga 1204 Charlie's Opening 1180 [span class='Apple-tab-span' style='white-space: pre;] Darraweit Guim 1196 <div> And if the players play to their 2103 average: Iron Knob 1428 [span class='Apple-tab-span' style='white-space: pre;] Powlett Plains 1306 Waikikamoocow 1311 [span class='Apple-tab-span' style='white-space: pre;] Birdsville 1270 Foul Bay 1337 [span class='Apple-tab-span' style='white-space: pre;] Wagga Wagga 1277 Charlie's Opening 1289 [span class='Apple-tab-span' style='white-space: pre;] Darraweit Guim 1240 <div>
You've confused me Bandito - if I put in the same team as last week and they score the same as last week, why would the Waikiks not score the same as last week?
Quite correct you are Chels.... I had Tom Mitchell instead of Crouch and Robinson instead of Pods... apologies, all rectified in OP
Thanks Bandito, I though for a minute that the 36 hour drinks break we are on had affected my logic. Just to confuse things we are unlikely to field the same team as last week, so ...... BTW, today's earthquake just south of Ekatuhuna was not part of the pre-game show as some of the bemused visitors seemed to think. No drinks were spilt, no sandwiches lost, but we have lived up to our 'shaky isles' moniker. Team will be announced soon, with so many playing on Sunday we need to get on top of a possible injury clouds over Ziebell and Duffield, and where Wright and Sam Shaw are on Sando's bench. Try to contain yourselves.
The Waikik team for the home quarter final (subject to last minute change): D: Taylor, Hibberd, Duffield, Staker (Sam Shaw) M: Fyfe, McVeigh, Hannebery, Crouch (N. Graham) R: Jacobs F: Crameri, Robinson, Podsiadly, Elliott (Macaffer) I/C: Ziebell Isaac Smith (Maguire) Matty Wright not picked? Sando will follow Voss out the door. Tom Mitchell rested for the finals, mmmm. Nick Graham first game, cool; especially if he is not green vested.
Typical poor start for the Chooks. Me thinks I will need some epic scoring from Danger, Libba and Dahlhaus in the last game if I'm going to snatch it.
Well pretty much everyone of Prap's boys last night killed it, bit of a worrying sign for Codpiece supporters!
Charlie's Opening 667/9 - Petrie responsible for 160+ of that. Darraweit 944/12 . Going down to the wire. Especially if Charlie's Opening's trio playing tonight do well.
The Cows and the Battlers are locked in a tight contest to this point. The Cows are 5/443 against the Battlers 5/470.
Foul Bay: 790 (8) To come: D.Pearce, M.Johnson, Danger, Libba, Mumford, Pavlich, Daulhaus Wagga Wagga: 1192 (14) To come: Dunn The Wombats held the upper hand early on, however Selwood and Bartel, thrown in with the late out of S.D.Thompson (with no emg) has just about killed off the match. Unless there's a big turnaround, the Wombats will hold their heads high in defeat. Very consistent scores across the board.

I must admit the late out of Thompson was lucky for me and very unlucky for you. I am just hoping that the non-selection of Stokes (135) doesn't come back and bite me (particularly with Adams getting subbed off with injury). Although, having said that, it has been the story of my year so there is every chance that it will come back to haunt me. There is still some potential low scores for me to come, so it is still very much anyone's game. Everyone bar Danger and Libba have been mighty inconsistent out of that group still to play and even those two have played the odd shocker. I'm still mighty nervous.
Waikiks 681/9 trail The Birdsville Battlers 750/8. It looks like the Waikiks legendary run of luck is about to end with some poor efforts contributing to a mediocre performance. The cats representatives (Harry and Pods) hardly broke into a sweat while the Battlers' lions contingent were celebrating the end of crazy Voss's reign. The Battlers are well worth their lead and to say the travelling support were enjoying themselves would be an understatement. Well played JC. Is there a way back for the crestfallen chels' mob? Tune in on Sunday for what might be the last instalment of this year's serial. On a positive note the Waikiks received confirmation that their midfield stocks have been further strengthened after the much anticipated debut of Nick Graham. Nick was subbed on in the third quarter; the result: 27% TOG for 51 SC points. He is the third young mid 'blooded' this season; another kid who is alright has been introduced to the home town fans this year following the introductions of Crouch and T. Mitchell. With Isaac Smith (24) the second oldest of the eight current mids - McVeigh being the oldest - the Waikiks would seem to have little need to draft or trade for mids in the forseeable future. If our selections in the back and forward lines had been as good the Waikiks might have been real contenders. Ah well, there is always next year.
Long way to go yet chels. With your 3 remaining mids, the Waikiks scoring potential is much higher for todays games than the Battlers. And I've got a couple of real hit or miss players to come as well.
