Prap already turning his attention to basketball. Throwing in the towel already or clever use of smoke and mirrors?

Team amended per Tuck being omitted despite nearly being best on for the tigers in a bit over a quarter last week. TiB - time will tell.

Prap - my mail is that Tuck will come back in as Cotchin and JRoo are in serious doubt. But I wouldn't bank on it ..... I'm making a late change and taking a calculated risk - in comes Paul Seedsman, out goes Brad Hill. I'll make the amendments above in my team.

Seems fairly logical given he averages 75 to Hill's 59?

Well, Walker a late withdrawal. That might put a dent in proceedings. Mr Newnes, you'll again be called on to stand up bravely and fill the breach as you did last week. Best of luck.

I think you'll get there Chris. It currently stands at Birdsville 787/9 to Darraweit Guim 734/8. But with five Tigers waiting to cash in against GWS tomorrow, you'd have to be favourite from here. Anything can happen of course so I look forward to seeing what unfolds tomorrow.
Looks like the Freo/Port game will cost me. I have about 5 or 6 players from those two teams in a Centrebet draft league. Most of them have performed below expectations in the final this week and may well cost me the $250 winners prize. Damn you Nick Suban and your 19!! At least Jordan Lewis had the decency to be a late out.

JC you're home. No Walker and Newnes not cutting it ... And now for some inexplicable reason Foley the sub. Damn shitty way to end the season with subs and late outs ... Them's the breaks I guess.

Foley being sub has cost me the match - haven't been able to establish a big enough lead with Merrett and Rich playing well. Can't fault the effort of anyone really this week, scoring almost 1300 will win most games. Disappointing way to end the year. Congrats JC and best of luck in the big one. I now look to trade period and nabbing perhaps a player or two I require.

Merrett injured and subbed out early 3rd qtr and Rich didn't get near it in the 2nd half by the looks of it. I have the Dirrigibles up by 4 pre-scaling. 46 points available for allocation. This will be tight.

Geez I wander away for an hour and a lot happens.I hope Sauce is OK - I like him I think I still have you slightly up JC - pre scaling. We may have to double and triple check.

I've just re-added. I think you might be right JC. What the hell just happened? Rich and Merrett had 100 points at quarter time.

No idea. I'd been out all day and got back at 1/2 time. Based on 1/2 time scores, Merrett and Rich only needed 15sc between them or something. Then Sauce goes out, the Dogs get on a run and Rich goes missing. Just re-checking all of the scores now, but I think it'll be the Dirrigibles home by 4, 1312 to 1308. I'll post again once I've confirmed.

And what a duel in the ruck with Clarke and Maric equal top scorers with a pair of 134's. All the best in the final Chris! As for the Battlers, well we posted a competitive score but came up a bit short. Them's the breaks I guess. It's a bit disappointing given we had a golden chance to win. Needing less than 20sc from 2 players in a half of footy to get home, we couldn't get it done. You couldn't make that shit up if you tried! Daniel Rich may get cut for this. :p

Sorry guys, have been out all day so haven't had a chance to look at the scores until now.... Foul Bay Def: Pearce (78), Johnson (98), Broughton (42), Harwood (85) Mid: Dangerfield (115), Selwood (131), Liberatore (112), McLean (15) Ruck: Mumford (91) Fwd: Pavlich (114), Bartel (88), Stokes (141), Dahlhaus (111) I/C: Roughead (108), Kelly (115) TOTAL: 1444
    Powlett Plains Def: Murphy (81), O'Brien (80), Chaplin (82), Mid: Hodge (87), Boyd (107), Cornes (96), Armitage (78) Ruck: Gorringe (58) Fwd: Franklin (116), Riewoldt (155), Henderson (53), Melksham OOP (27) I/C: Ball (78), Grundy (66) TOTAL: 1218
Feel free to check the maths as I'm sure that I have made mistakes. Looking forward to taking you on next week Chris and hopefully gaining a measure of revenge. Your team makes me very nervous to play against as you have quite a number of players who can go quite large. And your Richmond blokes playing against Essendon fill me with a bit of apprehension as well.

I think I had more than my fair measure of luck - its a game that could've gone absolutely either way. CR - Your team are firing at the right time so it is going to be an extremely difficult task. Again, hopefully the Dirigibles can put a good team on the park to endeavour to make a nice contest out of things. But a score like 1400+ is going to be a hard one to overcome. The local pub is awash with Dirigible logos and appropriately coloured crepe paper streamers and the guys have got a 'just happy to be here' attitude happening right now, so we're enjoying the ride. I'll try to do a write-up for the prelims today at some stage.

Just noticed Ben Rutten's 48 got left off the team list for the Packers, but was counted in Powlett Plains' total by the looks. And bloody hell, Foul Bay got 1400+ with a defender getting 40 and a midfielder injured? Geez that's formidable - and Josh Thomas didn't even make the cut for the team. Going to take a lot of Tonya Hardings and a lot of iron bars to even have a chance I reckon. (Figuratively speaking, the ORFFA doesn't condone either Harding or iron bars I don't think).
