    Ghost should try getting onto Cross rather than Cassisi, but I can see your thinking.

    Just feel like Port is going to have to find someone good soon, because their team from a fantasy footy perspective smells pretty rank.

    All pretty average consistent guys without too much upside, limited rookies (Butcher, Redden...?) and the injury hit ones we'd hoped would have had a good preseason (Boak, Gray)

    They will win games, the Power, but I can see a year of avoiding them from a fantasy footy perspective.

    @Lucas

    Not only slim Port pickings for SC, the team itself is in a bit of a mess. Some talent in there, but injuries and age are taking their toll and the current structure doesn't strike me as cohesive (i.e., individuals will have their day, but not all on the same day). It would take a very clever coach to bring that cohesion. The 2nd and 3rd year kids need to step up - if they can get on the park.

    Unfortunately Terry you might be right.

    I guess I have respect for the Chaplin/Cassisi/K Cornes style of player who get the job done week-in, week-out

    These guys are too professional to watch their side go down the toilet ala Brisbane.

    That said, someone should shake them up a bit and say 2007 is a long time ago, and 2004 is a football era ago.

    On the coaching discussion, unfortunately I see Primus as a Peter Rohde seat warmer. For who? Not sure, but I'd get worried if Josh Carr or Tredrea started coaching well in the SANFL.
