Casey went for two trades. Correctional just to grab the rookies on the bubble

Broughton > Paine (DPP Change from FWD to DEF) > Milera

    Miles > Greene

    C - Gaz VC - Pendles

Did the popular broughton trade to dempsey, and traded out miles for T Greene. Greene looks like a possesion machine, and id rather him for dreamteam, but wanted to get rid of miles so he was the only real option

I changed my mind at last minute, regarding captain choice. Tried changing to GAJ, but was seconds too late. So am stuck with Pendles...
http://tooserious.net/captains-log-round-3/comment-page-1#comment-122961</blockquote>At least a couple of seconds earlier would have gained me an extra 120 points! Big difference, and will be hard to make up. What pisses me off more about it is that I had had the C on GAJ all week, and changed it to Pendles on Friday - before changing my mind at the last minute, but slightly too late.
I am happy I managed to change my own team in time though - that's a positive.

Yeah the Pendles (C) thing will really split the Trading Games pack this round; I'll be another one heading south in this split. Fascinating to see what it will do to the overall league standings. Hopefully a lot of other leading leagues wil have their share of Pendlebury captaincies as well.

Tg league 2 dropped to #31 - how are leagues 1 and 3 ranked now?

Down to 64...I blame myself !
Although 10 others in league 1 also had sub 2000 scores. Far too much Dependleburyness I suspect.

The image of that little blue circle spinning around and then stopping in unison with all the vc/sub/em etc buttons disappearing is going to plague me all season I reckon :(
120 points is such a big consequence for being seconds too slow.

Things can turn around quickly in this though. We're all still in the hunt I reckon.
Last season, there was a period of about 5 weeks or so, where FSB and I swapped the lead back and forth each week, but it wasn't close margins. We kept outscoring the other by like 300 points and then swapping over. Was quite odd. We had a lot of PODs by that stage.

I liked my crazy trades last week:
    Cox>McIntosh (both scored 110)
    Miles> Ebert
:) Trading Games is fun, allows you to go a bit loco

Interesting week this week. No Heater, Lake in the backline. Dempsey questionable (for those that traded him in). Ellis named on extended bench for sunday. Looks like donuts coming in backs.

In mids, T.Greene out which I think a few had brought in, Still no Miles and C.Smith out. In fwd's Smedts still out and Fyfe/Martin due to drop in price. Redden out in Rucks and BigO extended bench.

How is everyone steering their way around this week? I've moved Fyfe out, got no back emergancys but im looking at holding everyone there. Hopefully Ellis gets a game to avoid a dredded donut.

I'll let you know my trades after lockout!

Should be ok down back, only Lake out (dempsey still possibly out) but with two playing rookies on the bench, Tomlinson and Ellis.

Only trade im considering is Fyfe out, still don't know what to do with him.

    Considering Fyfe > Barlow and pocket some &#36;&#36;

or a double trade Fyfe > Sidey
    Coniglio > Masten

    or Fyfe > JPK

    Or just keep Fyfe.......

Arghhh, Fremantle are killing me so far this year

As most of us would, I've got no emergencies down back as well, but not planing to trade there.

I'm doing 2 trades again this week, but as with Warsaken, you'll find out what they are after lockout.

I was thinking all week that I wouldn't do any trades in this team, but had a play around last night and am happy with my decisions for now. Will be interesting after teams are announced tonight though.

Fyfe to Treloar, and Clay Smith to Marc Murphy.

Bit the bullet last week and went:

    Shaw- Geary
    Wingard - M.Murphy - worked a treat!

Now what to do with bloody Fyfe... oh and Ablett!
