To borrow a quote from The Hobbit, Terlich can 'Leave now and never come back!' My student has finally had enough of him, Hanley IN. He'll be looping Buddy using Nicholls who served his purpose as a R3 but now a good looper.
Define irony: after rejecting Terlich in his trading team, my student just picked him up in his draft league. He had to trade Gwilt due to him being rested.
a big week for the chasing birdies team, but its not quite enough for the lead heading into the final fortnight good luck fellas <table width='516' style='width: 387pt; border-collapse: collapse;' border='0' cellspacing='0' cellpadding='0] <col width='64' style='width: 48pt;[/img]<col width='102' style='width: 77pt;[/img]<col width='71' style='width: 53pt;[/img]<col width='87' style='width: 65pt;[/img]<col width='64' style='width: 48pt;' span='3[/img] <td class='xl64' style='background-color: transparent; width: 48pt; height: 15pt;border: #f0f0f0;] <div role='main]1 <td class='xl65' style='background-color: transparent; width: 77pt;border: #f0f0f0;]Buzz II <td class='xl64' style='background-color: transparent; width: 53pt;border: #f0f0f0;]Barry W <td class='xl66' style='background-color: transparent; width: 65pt;border: #f0f0f0;]$12,971,300 <td class='xl67' style='background-color: transparent; width: 48pt;border: #f0f0f0;]2,080 <td class='xl67' style='background-color: transparent; width: 48pt;border: #f0f0f0;]45,456 <td class='xl68' style='background-color: transparent; width: 48pt;border: #f0f0f0;] <td class='xl64' style='background-color: transparent; width: 48pt; height: 15pt;border: #f0f0f0;]2 <td class='xl65' style='background-color: transparent; width: 77pt;border: #f0f0f0;]Chasing Birdies <td class='xl64' style='background-color: transparent; width: 53pt;border: #f0f0f0;]Brendan H <td class='xl66' style='background-color: transparent; width: 65pt;border: #f0f0f0;]$12,981,100 <td class='xl67' style='background-color: transparent; width: 48pt;border: #f0f0f0;]2,248 <td class='xl67' style='background-color: transparent; width: 48pt;border: #f0f0f0;]45,436 <div> <td class='xl69' style='background-color: transparent;border: #f0f0f0;]-20
My student won his SF after a bad week with Ablett at the helm. He chose Selwood who closed Buddy's loop, even with 1 donut he exceled.
After starting the final H&A round in 13th my son (Cam) is still alive, after a tight win over Jason (Luke) in the SF. Burned my last trade going into rd 19, (NicNat -&gt; N. Roo) which got us into the finals, but that has been the tale of this season... Frantically burning trades to try and play catch up. Gotta say I've loved the concept and look forward to it going again next year.
My student is in the Grand Final of his league despite being in the 70000s overall, he's actually had a better season than me. I taught him too well, the student has surpassed the master.
well done Chasing Birdies (nsd) and cmososioerations BuzzII (BuzzBoys) to get that starting team anywehre near the top 5k after 23 rounds was a supreme effort
My son's team had to settle for 3rd place in the end, well done to those who traded more wisely than I did. I still intend to write up my team's trades in more detail and would definitely be interested in seeing the trades that led to winning all of this. But this will probably not happen until next week some time.
Grats guys, once I have discovered the liniment which bests treats itchy trade finger I will be able to emulate your feats
