While not a great week for the donors, we did end up improving our position in the overall, scoring 2302 for the round, which placed us at 29,680 in the weekly rankings. This bumped us up 632 spots, to again be inside the top 20k, at 19,604. In our leagues we had three wins, one loss, and we were already on the sidelines in the last league, so three grand finals to keep everyone interested for the final week of the supercoach season.

As always, join me over the break to see how it all panned out.<!--more-->

For the second-last time, our team lined up as follows:

    Deledio DEF 131
    Scotland DEF 118
    Goddard DEF 121
    Shaw DEF 87
    Carrazzo DEF 91
    Yarran DEF 82
    Shaw DEF 64
    Ablett MID 124 captain 248
    Kennedy MID 126
    Mitchell MID 71
    Pendlebury MID 155
    Priddis MID 134
    Gibson MID 50
    Cox RUC 84
    Roughead RUC 64
    Dangerfield FWD 106
    Sidebottom FWD 90
    Riewoldt FWD 100
    Martin FWD 137
    Franklin FWD 77
    Goodes FWD 72
    Fyfe FWD 94

    Lake DEF 0
    Darley DEF 45
    Selwood MID 0
    Adams MID 92
    Campbell RUC 45
    Pattison RUC 0
    Milera FWD 99
    Sexton FWD 0

As can be seen, we made some subs and some MPP changes for this week, but none of this changed the fact that Deledio still lead our backline, with 131 points this week - its going to be a shame if hes not a defender next year! Once again Goddard and Scotland came up next best, on 121 and 118 points respectively, rounding out our ton-toppers down back. The next best was Carrazzo on 91, H Shaw on 87, Yarran on 82, and finally S Shaw on 64. The bench was made up of our dropped again emergency in Lake, who failed to play, and the unused Darley on 45 points. No potential missed points down back, so some good team selection from the donors here.

Our midfield was lead handsomely by a haul of 155 to Pendlebury, and a top quality 134 points from Priddis. Next up was Kennedy on 126, and finally captain Ablett on 124 points, which doubled up to 248. A disappointing Mitchell was next on 71 points, followed by our sub of the rookie Gibson on a lowly 50, but we cant hold that against him. On the bench was our reason for Gibson taking the field, with a donut to Selwood, and finally our MPP swap of Adams, giving us bench cover, and pumping out a 92. Unfortunately we would have been better off with him on for Gibson, which cost us 42 points. We also missed another 31 points, with our VC Pendles outscoring Gazza.

This week the rucks let us down in a really big way, with Cox only managing 84 points, while Roughead only managed 64 points. Our bench of Campbells 45 and Pattisons donut wouldnt have improved us any, but it was nice to have some playing cover.

The forward line was lead by Mr disappointment Martin, finally coming good on 137 points. There was a long way back to Dangerfields 106 and Riewoldts return to the field with a round 100 points. Next up was Fyfe on 94, and Sidebottom on 90, followed by the long awaited return of Franklin and his 77 points (we waited this long for that????) and finally the not so Goodes on 72 points. On the pine was the MPP swap of Sexton, and another return, this time Milera, who did better than Buddy, with 99 unused points! Fielding him would have given us an extra 27 potential points.

So, looking at all our missed points, we could have improved our 2302 by a perfect 100, to 2402 points for round 22.

We had a win in the losers league, beating Noooooooooooooo! By 30 points. Were now up against the Shoodabeens again, who gave us a 98 point pasting in the first week of the finals. Lets hope we can reverse that this time around. There are enough differences in our teams, with Hurn, Johnson, Taylor, Broughton, and Grima down back, Watson and Baguley in the mids (along with some MPPs in the forward line), Naitanui, Giles, and Stanley in the rucks, and Hale, Lewis, Cloke, Walters, Murdoch, Paine, and Crozier up front. Clearly theres enough PODs to make this a good fight.

    League: Ucantbe TS
We had a win in the winners league here, beating Astute Betting by 98 points.Well now be taking on Portland players for bragging rights! Down back theyve got Broughton against our H Shaw. In the middle theyve got Boyd, Swan, Robinson, Thomas and Nicholson, against our Kennedy, Mitchell, Selwood, Gibson, and Sexton. The rucks our Cox and Roughie go up against Nicnat and Giles. The forward line will have Beams, Whitecross, Zorko, and Crozier up against Goodes, Riewoldt, Fyfe, and Milera. We should see some good matchups here, with some premiums who could absolutely kill it this weekend, or completely screw it up for either team!

    League: TS IGOTATHEORY
We had a win in the losers league here, over the Pink Panthers by 165 points. This pits us against LordBrockys best, who we beat by 162 points in the first week of the finals. The POD list for this game is more than enough to field a complete 22, with our opponents having Johnson, Waters, Golby, and Spurr down back, Boyd, Dal Santo, Swan, Barlow, Murphy, McDonald, and Miles in the mids, Goldstein, Sandilands, Redden, and Rowe in the rucks, and Pavlich, Johnson, Hale, Chapman, Lewis, Zorko, Dickson, and Patton up front. Can we make a deal to field 22 different players, and see how we both go???

    League: TS Pine Warmers
We were kicked out here a long time ago, so well sit back and watch Krunchy Nuts (who bundled us out in week 1) take on Sticky Fingers (how apt) in the winners final.

    League: TS WA League
We had a loss here in the losers league, to Tino Time, by 63 points, which means that our selection errors let us down. Luckily for me on a personal note, I made it through to the losers final, so wont have to worry about managing competing teams in the granny!

So, join us in the donors forum for the last time this year to get our team up in the overall rankings, and to help us to glory in three TS leagues. Good luck to everyone still chasing some overall glory or milestone rankings. Good luck to everyone fighting it out for grand final glory (except for you Tino Time, nothing personal, its just supercoach).
