You say this often, but I don't believe a word of it. I too was unaware that we were down to 17 (voting) coaches. One could have assumed a vote from TTH, since he poked the hornet's nest in the first place or equally, if Chris is to be the new coach (with previous FA experience), he may have been invited to vote. Dumb perhaps for supporting the Pies, but your ladder position in all leagues would suggest nothing wrong with your math.
