Is that really you chels? And what is that nasty pig trying to do to you?

    Fond regards, Eccles.

PS. I hear Torika Watters is now available to sing the anthem for you. Question is, what anthem will she sing?

a few concerns before the away game against Chief's Foul Bay Chickens, aka the Salary Cap Rorters.

Waikik admin appear to have over estimated the IQ's of the team by allowing them to book their own flights to Foul Bay. The defenders are enjoying the hospitality in Berenice which is on the Egyptian side of the Red Sea. The midfield group seems to have arrived at The Crane on the southeast coast of Barbados. The forwards are attracting some commentary in the Falkland Islands. Fortunately the ruckmen are in SA but have more inetrest in talking to Bear about the performance of Black Caviar and scoffing lobster pies.

We shall do our best in difficult circumstances and can only hope X emerges from his self imposed banishment and funds a central travel office to overcome such problems. When the going gets tough the tough get going according to Sammy as he headed into Bridgetown to check out the Bob Marley shrine.

Perhaps you need to consider completely revamping your line up.

Perhaps TiB, perhaps you would like to trade one of your injured rookies for Sam or Mitch? :p

Just in from our man in Sydney:
"In just his third match, the performance of father-son recruit Tom Mitchell will have Swans fans excited with the 18-year-old instrumental in the victory collecting 35 possessions, 6 marks and kicking a goal. But it wasn’t just the numbers which were encouraging, it was the way the tough midfielder threw his body into packs to win possession then with a clever kick or handball would have a teammate running into goal or an attacking position.

After overcoming persistent injuries over pre-season, Mitchell has stepped up his game time in his three matches this year from 30 minutes to 45 and now 70 minutes today. “It’s another step forward for Tom,” Swans Reserves coach Jared Crouch said. “He’s a good little player and can certainly find the footy.” :D

A young franchise with an exciting future I would say. Short term opportunism is soon forgotten by true fans.

It never ceases to amaze me that Sammy is at Hawthorn, while Tom is at Sydney, yet is referred to as a father/son recruit by the Waikiks. I guess looking across the pond from NZ, Hawthorn and Sydney are not that far apart.

in a fashion sense they are miles apart TiB. What a surprise that you are being deliberately perverse in your pursuit of a psychological advantage in the yet to be named match event of the year for the ORFFA community

Hey chels, are you flying in or do we need to send the icebreaker to make you a safe passage?

You might need to wear the long sleeves this week - combined wind chill factor of -40.5 today.

thanks X, but we are choppering in from Ross Base.

BTW, what colour Sherrin do you plan on using? We have been training with an air sea rescue orange one, but that might be a bit bright for the lads who had a late night last night. No names, no pack drill.

We will be using the yellow ball chels, as there's only a few hours of weak daylight. Lights will be on the whole match. Just try to stop Mitch chasing the penguins, if you could.
