Nice disguise, and necessary too. Given all the bravado on the main page about working around the byes and the thumpings he and Jo copped in the DT Hornswagglers, he should be wearing this disguise at least until R14.
I think I might take up the ukelele. It would go well with my tropical shirt and my coconut with straw. We never doubted you AJ. All through last season and now this. Good boy.
Where can I find a list of the Warriors? I would have thought in this thread, but apparently not. I'd like to know if, other than Tomahawk, Terry has put his Whitsunday magic curse on any other members of the Potoroos.
Potoroos have been found on the mainland! Pre-draft list on p.4 Jason. We don't advertise, we like people to enjoy reading the entire thread.
See if we can do this: . Click on the image and it works!
We think X. and the boys found what they were looking for in the Whits. They certainly went home with a win and casting from the kayaks was very popular, while the penguins kept them supplied with live bait. . Down at Mawson when a blow comes in, those shorts double as a tent.
This weekend during Hermitage Round we played host to chels and his Waikikamoocows. Chels was a big hit at the resort, cooking up a feast of dishes with that delicate New Zealand touch (we supplied the sledge hammer). Lots of fine wines were consumed and celebrations lasted for 3 days. Who won? Oh, we should know officially about Wednesday or Thursday. . One of our wahines from the resort searches for pipis, the best the Whits can do for toaroa, for chels to make one of his famous dishes.
The Two Mitches seemed to enjoy the fishing, using some of Bear's saltwater flies. . Josh Bootsma cut bait.
we are having a great time in the Whitsundays - with TiB (close to) the perfect host. Can highly recommend the location for a recovery session and even more highly for the session before the need for a recovery session. The goat dish was somewhat of a highlight on Sunday evening - especially the look on the faces of some of the younger members of both teams when they found out what they had eaten. Josh Bootsma still on the ribena and will be fortunate to get another kick this season and liable to be traded next year. But that is all in the future - back to the party.
So that's where my goat disappeared to? And all this time I thought Hornsy had stolen it. Delicious but.
And so we pack our bags and we are off to play the Cockies at Gariwerd. A shroud of mystery surrounds their team as it is rumoured the franchise is up for sale and some American buyers are interested. Nonetheless we expect a tough game. Boil 'em or fry 'em, you need strong teeth and a stronger stomach to get through a cockie. .
John Hiatt and Sonny Landreth do our theme song, just to cheer Hornsy up. [embed]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToyhknE5YUg&feature=related[/embed]
This week it is Hook Island to Deep Creek to face the Darraweit Guim. We will need a lot of luck to go our way to come home with anything. Darraweit is a bit of an artsy fartsy sort of spot on the map, due to ease of travel for the Melbourne wannabes. Still, we don't mind some of the art and we look forward to hearing Stonefield provide the half time entertainment. .
I know, I know. It's our mistake feeding Juddy too much seafood when all the time he had a hankering for: . He could have told us or at least been a bit more demonstrative when we play Foul Bay. Now it looks like a spell on the sidelines for his dietary predilections, after belting out a nice little score for us this week.
