i did the fyfe to goodes last week... didnt work out too well now have to sit goodes on the bench til hes back just because ive burned so many trades already! fml
Starting with DickPaine was an initial starting squad mistake...however I have held onto Dickson and it looks like it could potentially pay off now. My one bad trade would be downgrading Hale to Big O. While the cash gained has allowed me to get Pendlebury and next week get Goddard, Hale has scored 102 and 124 since I gave him the boot. And Giles on field only got me 50 odd in that first week - costing me 2 league losses by less than 50 points! And in one of those leagues I went from 4th to 11th!!
Held onto Fyfe after initial injury. Lost $100k. Then traded to Goodes. Out 6 wks with quad/hip. Then traded to Christensen. Did finger in 2nd qtr followed by calf in 3rd. Not happy Jan!!!
Kreuzer -> Big O now no where to be seen Parker -> Ziebell poor poor poor after the standout game against the cats Fyfe -> Tippet (sucker )
I snapped like a twig when Stevie J was allergic to leather for 4 weeks and moved him on for Tomahawk - who as we all know is fast becoming a candidate to play Mr. Potato Head in Toy Story 5 : (
My worst trade of the year pre-season: Boomer, Martin, Fyfe, Pav, NDS. This collective lot have managed to drop over 1/2 a mil and do far call but score nut lows and lose me games (I've lost 3 games by under 15 and each week 1 of these players has nut lowed on that week) Pav has barely held his own and thats only because Fyfe who was spudding got injured and gave Pav some time in the middle. Mental note to self NO Freo players till spuddiest of spud coaches R Lyon is sacked or runs off to ruin another club. Post season not a bad trade but a bad result Scotland in last Friday.
Traded in Scott Thompson (NM) three week ago - since then he's scored a combined 180! Don't know what I was thinking and now I feel like I have to keep him as I'm not wasting more trades.
Sorry if you trade Drummond, Higgins or any other injury prone players you arent able to win the title of worst trade of year. You win another titled award!!

Quote from bama on June 4, 2012, 10:31 Mine could still be coming, looking at Morris to Drummond after the bye this week!
LMFAO yup world of pain there......
After everything, mine would still be Mummy to Sandi early in the year when Mummy got injured. Sandilands played the one match then injured for 2 weeks. Got rid of him straight away for Nic Nat who then got injured and didn't play for 2 matches. Knowing my luck with ruckmen, I just copped the donuts and now am happy.

I've had him from the start of the year! Take out his 6, he's averaging ~85 (which is good considering how poor defenders are this year) Put it back in, he's still doing better than Hargrave I can understand why Broughton to Dempsey owners would consider it a terrible trade though. They did break the golden rule of, never trade out a 'premium'

Quote from Fitzy on June 4, 2012, 16:05 Fyfe to Mundy...... That has to be up there, got Mundy at 540k as well when Fyfe was about 480k
I winced when I seen this lol. Thinking was right more mid time ect...Just never counted on Mundy spudding it up so bad.
