The final round of ORFFW regular season competition commences on Saturday afternoon, with Sunday AFLW teams officially trimmed at 5pm Friday. https://womens.afl/news/16857/teams-star-bulldogs-set-to-return-from-long-layoffs The Round 5 ORFFW fixture is posted at http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/2019-orffw-fixture-now-updated.90317/ and http://tooserious.net/forum/tsLeagues.php?leagueId=21 Please note that Round 4 ORFFW teams have been rolled over for Round 5 automatically however any late withdrawals from last week’s lineups will have been moved to the emergencies bench. Teams can be updated at http://tooserious.net/forum/tsLeagueTeam.php and can then be viewed at http://tooserious.net/forum/tsLeagueMatchday.php?leagueId=21&round=5 In case of late withdrawals it will be assumed that E1 and E2 are named in reverse order (as per all of the previous rounds) on the Matchday screen. Onto the Round 5 previews, as all 4 Round 4 winners are at home as another 3 teams are culled --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At Flour Girls Arenathe ladder leading Manildra Mystix will be facing a 4th placed Valkeries @That KI Guy side who will be seeking to rebound from consecutive losses and rediscover the winning form of Rounds 1 and 2 of ORFFW competition. Both sides finals chances hang in the balance and a ferocious battle is expected throughout in what is anticipated to be a tense and high scoring contest. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At the Falcon Dome the 3rd placed Falcons @Jason hosts the 7th placed Krushers @FreoDockers in a match that coincides with the AFLW clash between the clubs that the respective coaches follow with this matchup fittingly taking the billing of the “Dogs vs Docker” derby. Lake Fanny will want to secure the 4 premiership points at any cost after having ridden their luck so far this season and the Krushers prepare for the 2nd game of their Tassie road trip doubleheader knowing they will need to not only win but also depend on all of the other results going their way to secure the 4th and final playoff spot by Sunday evening. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At the Paddock the 6th placed Termites @stripey once again assume underdog status against the 2nd placed Nymphs @anthak outfit. With only 378km of highway between them Pomona will be hoping a swarm of travelling fans can help to offset the lift provided by the Tenterfield locals as the 2 sides battle for the all important 4 points in addition to the victor winning derby bragging rights in the “Cross Border Brou-hah-ha”. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The remaining match sees Lake St Clair @dmandrews taking on the visiting Bathust @Len side at the Devils Den. The Devils have overcome an 0-2 start to the season and start as favourites for a 3rd consecutive win against the winless Belles. @Len and his players will be leaving no stone unturned as they set themselves to finish the season on a high note with their first win. Like all of the 4 matches this week I hope to see some banter and live scoring updates from both the coaches involved as we wrap up the inaugural ORFFW home and away season with style with a rare Sunday AFLW triple header. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Draftstars links for progress scores through the round (no link for Lions vs Cats refer to AFLW app) https://play.draftstars.com.au/contest/Crri2At https://play.draftstars.com.au/contest/Cq2i2Ic https://play.draftstars.com.au/contest/Clzi2Og https://play.draftstars.com.au/contest/CUpi2LG For those wanting to follow the Points Scored Ladder should finals positions come down to the all important tiebraker :- Manildra 1878 Katanning 1865 Pomona 1825 Vivonne Bay 1807 Lake St Clair 1744 Bathurst 1718 Lake Fanny 1691 Tenterfield 1644 Good luck all.
All of a sudden, Ive got heaps of players to choose from, with Darcy Guttridge, Brooke Lochland and Isabel Huntington all named for their season debuts. Although, Courtney Cramey out injured is a big loss
@TheTassieHawk the first game link in the OP is to the JLT match between GWS and Sydney, rather than an AFLW match
Here is a progress scores screen pic and attached below is the spready which can be filled in as we go
Gabriella Pound could be the bargain of the mid season draft.. an 80 today after a 64’ish last week. Purcell’s 102 on the bench hurts
I finally got to my first game this season yesterday. I think it'll be the only one I attend this season unfortunately. Much less than previous seasons. It was fun. However, a shame my star fwd Phoebe McWilliams didn't dominate. I'm in the middle of a pretty awesome sporting weekend. I've stayed in Burpengary last night. Yesterday attended the NBL final where Perth defeated Brisbane, then went straight to the AFLW game where Geelong defeated Brisbane. Today, I'm attending the Hawthorn vs Brisbane JLT game, and then heading over to attend the Matilda's Australian women's soccer team play South Korea. I'm not sure I've attended 4 professional games in one weekend before

Late in the last quarter of the Dockers vs Bulldogs I have the Mystix, Termites, Krushers and Devils looking like clear winners. With 4 teams tied on 3 wins and 2 losses the Devils and Nymphs look like they are neck and neck for Unoffical Points Scored in 2nd/3rd and as of a minute ago the Termites with Spark and Mackie were 4 points ahead of the Falcons for Unofficial Points Scored with Conti and Blackburn in the tightest of battles for the 4th and final ORFFW finals position. @Jason and @stripey this is where every point counts and remember there could be late adjustments to come !
Feel your pain. Massive aggregate game between the Mystix and Valks. Bundled out by 29. Well played @TheTassieHawk
