ORFFW Round 2 sees the 6 Round 1 winners clashing and the 6 Round 1 non winners also clashing. Scone Sirens vs Batemans Bay Battlers @Tracey @Nic Neg The first match of Round 2 sees Round 1 winners Scone and Batemans Bay clash in the Hunter. The experienced Battlers scored a massive 775 last week while the youthful Scone side managed 605 whilst playing 1 short and will need to field a full 13 and raise their game if they are any chance of continuing their winning streak. Sandgate Sugar Gliders vs Bathurst Belles @Tiny_doughnut @Len The Queenslanders had a tough initiation but will start slight favorites at home over a Bathurst outfit that performed about as well as Sydney’s weather last weekend. Both teams will be desperate to even the ledger this weekend to avoid their top 4 chances from slipping too far. Lake St Clair Devils vs Glenbrook Galahs @dmandrews@ver_redit_optatum The Tassie side were glad to scrape home over the Valkeries and will be in familiar surrounds as they play a Glenbrook side playing on the road for the first time. Glenbrook will be looking to make a fast start and put the pressure back on the hosts in what promises to be a high scoring and entertaining match. Bermagui Bronze vs Vivonne Bay Valkeries @marconofrio @That KI Guy The Bermagui side have been flogged on the track this week as @marconofrio plots the downfall of the visiting Vivonne Bay side. @That KI Guy will no doubt be bringing Bec Webster into the side after she was BOG in the reserves and demanded a spot in the 1’s. At the end of this contest one side will get their season back on track and the other will be in a world of (0-2) pain. Morwell Eagles vs Katanning Krushers @HOLKY@FreoDockers Holky’s side were deserved week one winners and will have the home advantage against the pride of WA who saw off the Mystix in their last start. Katanning will be giving Bri Davey a pre-game fitness test and with Isabel Huntington also on the sidelines could be testing their depth early in the 2020 season. Despite this betting markets indicate popular belief that the visitors will scrape home and maintain their perfect 2020 record. Manildra Mystix vs Pomona Nymphs TTH @anthak The 2 sides did not meet in the 2019 draft version of ORFFW and the Manildra side will lay out the welcome mat for @anthak’s side in their first ever clash. Having left too much to too few in Round 1 the home side will need 13 contributors as they take on a Pomona side that was somewhat rusty in Round 1 and will be much improved this weekend. ----------------- Can all teams please make sure that your 18 player squad is entered into TS Leagues nice and early. http://tooserious.net/forum/tsLeagueTeam.php Follow Round 2 proceedings live via the AFLW app to see the AFLW fantasy scores and cheer your ORFFW side on throughout the weekend, noting that your Round 2 opposition is shown on the following link. http://tooserious.net/forum/tsLeagueMatchday.php?leagueId=21&round=2 Cheers and good luck to all, TTH
Plenty of big selection news in round 2 teams, emergencies for Sunday again to be named between 4pm and 6pm on Friday. https://womens.afl/news/44143/teams-star-lion-ruled-out-pie-to-miss-grudge-match
Early stress test for the Krushers as we boarded the plane to Morwell tonight, having to leave Bri Davey and Issy Huntington at home under injury clouds. Great chance to test the depth of the squad on the road.

@dmandrews - Unless you have sprung a surprise trade with the Krushers Steph appears to have misread the ORFFW fixture - rather than being away at Morwell you are actually at home to Glenbrook !
Morwell Eagles Round 2 DEF: Campbell, Spark, Lutkins (Clarke) MID: Keryk, Bates, Zielke, Brazzale (Shevlin) RUC: Strom (Fowler) FWD: Scott, Vescio, D'Arcy (Dawes) IC: Mules, Laurie In: Mules, Laurie Out: Brush, Fowler

If Jess Allan is a late in for Glenbrook she will play against her sister Sarah who is one of rare players to represent the LSC Devils in the standalone 2019 season and the inaugural keeper league season in 2020. Steph Cain is out for the season with an ACL injury and Nicola Xenos has been omitted, their places in the Lake St Clair team have been taken by forward Jordan Ivey and defender Lauren Ahrens.
After the Bulldogs vs Dees match the Mystix are 155/3 to the Nymphs @anthak yet to take the field. 3 players apiece will be suiting up in the 310pm match.
At the halfway mark (ish), things are not looking good for the Galahs with 6 players out for 259 points, while the Lake St Clair Devils appear to be 9 for 508, nearly a 25% better average. The Irishwomen Staunton and Bonner have had a particularly dismal outing, despite hope that the Tasmanian climate would suit them.
A topsy turvy match at Manildra sees the visitors @anthak currently 86 points behind the Mystix unofficial completed score of 640 with a half of Marinoff, D Cox and Guttridge to complete the contest and slight favourites to get over the line and avoid an 0-2 start.
With Marinoff finishing with 100, Cox with 47 and Guttridge with 32 the unofficial scores have the Mystix scraping home 640-621 with both sides eagerly awaiting the official score check.
I have the unofficial full-time scores as Lake St Clair Devils 712 Defeating Glenbrook Galahs 634 Devils best - Garner (97), Ahrens in her ORFFW debut (74), Vesely (62) and Conti (61) Galahs best - Patrikios (78), Blackburn (66), Bonnici (62) and Jess Foley (60)
The power trio of Bateman’s Bay @Nic Neg, Lake St Clair @dmandrews and Katanning @FreoDockers remain undefeated after 2 games as they defeated Scone, Glenbrook and Morwell respectively in Round 2 ORRFW action. Joining them in the winners circle and creating a 6 team logjam in equal 4th place on the ladder were Sandgate @Tiny_doughnut, Bermagui @marconofrio and Manildra (TTH) as they dispatched Bathurst, Vivonne Bay and Pomona in the other matches. The latter 3 clubs are the only sides to remain winless after the opening fortnight of the 2020 season. In the MVP race top 4 selections Pomona’s Ebony Marinoff and Batemans Bay’s Kiara Bowers secured their 2nd consecutive BOG votes to lead the progressive tally by 1 vote from Bermagui’s fellow first round pick Emma Kearney. The remainder of the 2020 ORFFW season fixture has now been set (for details check http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/orffw-fixture-thread-now-with-2020-rds-2-6.90317/) and will be uploaded into TSLeagues later in the week.
And if there is one ORFFW side that can be firing shots after 2 rounds it is the folk from Batemans Bay @Nic Neg
