The Mystix have declined thus far to sign players on a 4 day ORFFW contract as a larger than usual squad of 19 listed players fronted up to training despite the Rd4 unavailability of Leah Cutting and Alice Burke from St Kilda The Mystix selection committee have made 3 changes to their Round 3 team as they take on the mighty Lake St Clair Devils @dmandrews in a rematch of the 2021 preliminary final. Chelsea Randall recovers from a hamstring injury and replaces Round 3 topup signing Sarah Verrier, Allie Drennan returns from a week on the sidelines and replaces Steph Cain, while Jess Weuschtner replaces Elise O'Dea. Jacquie Yorston returns to the squad of 18 in a temporary backup ruck role to sole specialist ruck Gabby Seymour, as the Suns star makes an AFLW comeback. Note this team is subject to change, with Steph Cain rumored to be a late in. Def = Ivey, C Randall, Keryk (Pritchard) Mid = Drennan, M Prespakis, A McDonald, Zreika (Cain) Fwd = Hore, E Antonio, Weutschner (Georgostathis) Ruck = Seymour (Yorston) IC = Gavalas, Ashmore (O'Dea) 2nds - Nat Plane Injured/HSP - Alice Burke, Leah Cutting postponed game topups - nil (subject to change)
A low scoring opening half sees the Mystix 8/315 lead the visiting Devils @dmandrews 6/258 by 57 points. The visitors boast a 5 to 3 advantage in the NM vs Carlton game, before Conti and Dunn look to thwart the efforts of Drennan and Seymour for the Manildra side.

Well we should be on 11 for 550, a handy average of 50. Meanwhile the Belles have played 6 for 273, an average of 45.5, I think. Shelley Heath and Jess Hosking remain to play for the Galahs.
The Katanning Krushers / Eastern park Demons is evenly poised at half time with the Krushers 6/321 averaging 53.5 to the Demons 8/409 (ave 51.1) Both teams still have some big guns to fire today so will be set for a close result!!
A second half rally appears to have the Mystix holding on for a victory with unofficial scores having Manildra 652, Lake St Clair @dmandrews 564.
Round 4 ORFFW action saw Katanning @FreoDockers, Legana @Pearcey47, Bathurst @Len , Scone @Tracey, Maildra and Bangalow @Esther win by 3, 11, 24, 27, 85 and 109 points over Eastern Park, Timboon, Glenbrook, Pomona, LSC and the Valks. In an amazing rounds of upsets and close matches only a 40m goal after the siren by Katanning star Katie Brennan prevented the undefeated teams from being swept by their Round 4 opponents, while the winless Bats, Sirens and Legends all tasted victory and this means all 12 sides have now opened their account. The Krushers 4 wins include 3 by under 30 points, despite the Round 1 losses of Davey and Huntington they deservedly sit ahead of the chasing pack but the premiership race appears to be very wide open. COVID topups have been auditioning over the last 3 weeks and the ORFFW now looks to the midseason delist and draft period to bring in talent and build stronger lists as we move through the second half of the season. With the cobwebs now shaken and teams are in full stride we have ORFFW Rivalry Round #2 commencing on Friday.
