Okay here’s the match ups this week for round 8!

Quebec Caribou (4th) (@FreeKickLiam) vs. Majorca Islanders (5th)(@TheTassieHawk)

Fourth vs fifth, always one of the most exciting and hard fought positions. Made extra exciting as win will take the Islanders into an unassailable position for the playoffs. I am keeping an eye on that dominant North Melbourne Caribou midfield against that dominant number one ruck work of Lucy Wales.

    Korean Kickers (9th) (@Chloe) vs. Darmstadt Dynamos (3rd) (@WillH_VI)

The Dynamos crusade to displace the top two continues this week against the Kickers. Ebony Marinoff has continued to spearhead this club to yet another successful season. The Kickers though are a team with their own superstar, with Kiara Bowers taking a run at out scoring the legend this year.

    Vancouver Vultures (7th) (@Athos123) vs. Adelaide All-Stars (8th)(@Corza)

Vultures are desperate for a win having had two closes losses in previous weeks. They are coming in to this matchup down a midfield in Heath-Barker but are excited to see Anne Hatchard returning to the side after coming off sore after a dominant performance against the Saints. The All Stars may be without their ruck Poppy Kelly, and may be relying on Sabrina Frederick to cover this key position.

Lagos Royals (1st)(@Peter W) vs. Lima Llamas (6th)(@hoschke118)

Things are starting to shape up in the race for finals. Last week we saw the Royals knock off the Storm, handing them their first loss of the season and jumping into first place in one swoop. This week it will be up to the Llamas to try and take down the top of the table. Royals looking dominant though with 4 players on their list breaking the ton.

Kyoto Kruisers (10th)(@FreoDockers) vs. Stuttgart Storm (2nd) (@Jono Steven)

Kruisers take on the previously undefeated Storm. They will need to bring their a game after a difficult season to date. Storm will be eager to bounce back from their first loss in this matchup. Kruisers have some talent on their list, especially the other Prespakis (Georgie) who this coach would love to get his hands on. They will need them all firing full cylinders if players like Maria Moloney and Ashleigh Woodland return to the consistent form they have shown throughout the season.
