The Nuffers have made 3 changes ahead of their Round 5 match away to the Hoppers @simonoz Serong, Long and Clurey replace Tom McDonald, Shaun Atley and Harry Cuningham while Brad Hill has been given a rocket by being named in the ruck a week after starting on the interchange. Atley joins SPP, Ed Richards and Luke Brown as emergencies while Jarryn Geary, Philp and McDonald play in the seconds.
This is the Misfit squad readying to be beaten up by the Uglies.. It's been a number of years since I couldn't enter a full team with reserves in this league but given this is the 3rd week in a row I clearly cocked up list management somewhere between the bottle and the keyboard DEFENDERS Caleb Daniel, Nick Haynes, Jake Lloyd, Lachlan Weller - MIDFIELDERS Josh Kelly, Rory Sloane, Callan Ward, David Mundy - RUCKS Nic Naitanui FORWARDS Devon Smith, Lachie Whitfield, Will Hayward, Jayden Laverde - INTERCHANGE Adam Tomlinson, Matthew Deboer
Never thought of that problem - @TheTassieHawk it will be intriguing to see how this plays out, if it indeed happens. The cows, boldly going where no one has been before at the selection table.
Yes, it will be interesting to see what happens... @walesy , do you know how it works? In the ORFFF, we’ve got a rule that says “maximum 1 emergency per line”, but that’s not so in the ORFFA.
Apols for generally being more awol than normal. Round 4 review here http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/orffa-round-4-review.90673/
@Jen , pity to see our match so materially influenced by your couple of outs. We all have injuries but they can detract from what looked like being a close game.
A lucky escape for the Vultures this week, I knew we were in big trouble when Marshall and Steele went off for the Devils to start the round. A 3 point win would be the closest we’ve had in a while, and in a year where every win matters we are counting ourselves very lucky.
ROUND 6 - We had to change theme as we had it down as ANZAC Round, but the theme we picked is pretty spot on for how things are at the moment. I will do a new thread tomorrow for it
Far too good @snoz The Nuffers had a couple of injuries but were down across the park due to relentless defence by the Hoppers on the rare occasions we got possession. We only just snuck over the 900 point barrier in time on in the 4th quarter and sincerely hope that we can put this debacle firmly behind us.
Cork back in bottle, TH has advised how I get results (no one has ever trusted me with this before) & Len...oh what a game it was & to be fair can't really be grumpy with such an outstanding match, in fact I'd say a toast is required, chugg, chugg...BURP!! No longer will I have to pester the bejesus out of everyone asking did we win, are we on top of the ladder etc etc Another toast in order
I don’t think it’s fair that fans should have to look up the scores. And given the Uglies good run of form this year, I’m sure you won’t want to miss the opportunity to get amongst it in the forums.
@HeavyMen if you are not comfortable riding the victory train with the Uglies, I can offer you the number two ticket spot with the Spelunkers, we are a whole different level of shit!
